This eco-friendly resort is located within the Mayan city of Chichen Itza that can be reached through a property's private entrance. It has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and offers eco-awareness activities. Yaxkin Spa offers holistic Mayan healing therapies, massages and beauty treatments, including a Mayan Hot Stone Spa Massage or a deluxe tropical facial. Hacienda Chichen Resort and Yaxkin Spa’s elegant rooms feature an ecological, colonial-style design including colonial tiles, hand-woven bedspreads and pictures of the surrounding fauna and flora. Hacienda Chichen restaurant serves organic Mayan Fusion cuisine. There is also a bar and a library-lounge. The resort offers a wide range of eco-awareness activities and sustainable tourism tours, including a Mayan Nature Tour or a bird-watching tour. The Mayan villages of Piste and Xcalacoop are within 5-10 minutes’ drive of the resort. The International Airport of Chichen Itza is 8.7 mi away. Some rooms have a mini-bar, this service has an extra charge please do verify the rates list. Please be advised that since the pandemic the Mayan temples can be reached only by the entrance currently active to visit Chichen-Itza site, which is the Main Gate. We hope our guests understand plan their visit using the Main Gate to this archaeological site at this time to avoid any misunderstanding since this situation is not in the hotel's control, we depend on the authorized institution to reopen the hotel's private entrance.

A hidden gem in the jungle. Loved everything about it. Wonderful staff, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, great pool and great location. Nothing.

The Jaguars in the zoo were phenomenal It is outdated, uncomfortable mattress, the sheet did not fit on the bed so intended up sleeping on the bare mattress, the pillow slips were too small for the pillows so did not cover the pillow, it was clean but felt dirty. The purse area at our room was not clean. The putt putt is in desperate need of repair and full of leaves and twigs. The breakfast was below average

The property was set in a delightful location with a beautiful swimming pool nestled between gorgeous trees. It was quiet and very peaceful. The staff could not have been nicer. The restaurant was also wonderful. The menu was varied and food delicious and not overpriced. We were disappointed when our stay ended and we had to leave Having to leave. One of the best hotels I have ever visited

The property is beautifully spread out and perfect for resting after visiting Chichen Itzá. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The pool was the perfect temperature and great after a very hot day. Hooks for wet towels would be helpful in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature and archeology. Everyone was kind and helpful! Food was delicious, shower nice and hot, beds and pillows comfy! 100% recommend!

Food was very good, the pool was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Adrian even showed us some artwork by a local artist that was not open to the public. We had a wonderful stay here and the gardens and the main house are beautiful. You can stroll through the property to check out many historical sites, like a church and an orchard and there are many varieties of birds. A short trip to Valladolid and plenty of cenotes nearby. The best part is that you can go to Chichén Itza early before the tour busses get there. The room was a bit musty, but once we turned on the AC it seemed to dissipate.

Fantastic secluded locale minutes away from Chichén Itzá and the Ik Kil cenote; the hacienda style lodging offers individualized personal space away from other clients. The pool is an excellent amenity that is open late into the evening that allows for a dark evening swim under the palm trees and the stars. Service staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The hotel cuisine is top notch with a solid quality/quantity/price ratio. Highly recommended if a visit to Chichén Itzá on your own time and dime is in your plans. I cannot think of anything that I did not like about our stay.

Absolute paradise. The gardens, pool and buildings are all stunning. All the extras were a bit pricey - ridiculous not to allow water from off site etc

Kind of old school but in the best way. Amazing tropical gardens. Not brand new but very well maintained, clean and comfortable. 5 minutes from the archeological sites and a beautiful cenote. Food and service at the restaurant was excellent. Water pressure was weak. I had a lingering fear that a coconut would fall and crush on my head ? those palm trees are really high Lol

Beautifully situated in mature grounds; lots of birds to be seen. Very close to the archeological site. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Food was a bit limited in choice and not commensurate with the overall standard. Better food to be had in other areas of Mexico and Yucatán

The location and setting of this property were fantastic. The grounds are wonderfully looked after and the staff are fabulous. Definitely recommended if you are visiting the area and want to be able to get to Chichen Itza before the crowds arrive. Nothing!
