Convenient location close to Hagley Park and the centre of town without being right in the middle of it all. Equipped with all the basics needed for self-catering if you don't want to dine out all the time.

Our stay was very comfortable, in a convenient location. As stated by another reviewer, the parking lot is quite tight. Once we got parked. I was happy to leave it there for our entire stay - we could walk many places and the buses were easy to navigate if we went further. Overall, a very nice stay and good value.

Nice enough stay, friendly host, great location, easy access. As other reviews have said it is somewhat run-down, but it is presented well for how outdated it is.

Apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very useful & we were able to borrow a clothes airer. The location was excellent 30 minute walk into the centre and close to Hagley Park & the Botanical gardens. Large supermarket just up the road. Easy & cheap bus ride to the airport from a bus stop less than 5 minute walk away. The owner was extremely helpful & friendly giving us tips & information. Would definately recommend. Nothing

Great location with plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby, all within easy walking distance. The owner at reception was super friendly and welcoming, and took the time to share tips about Christchurch, including great restaurant recommendations and child-friendly activities, which was really helpful for us as a family. We also requested a late checkout, and he kindly accommodated it, really appreciated. The room was very spacious, perfect for our family of three, and having a Jacuzzi spa at this price was a pleasant surprise. Excellent value for money, clean, comfortable, and affordable. Highly recommended, and we’re very thankful for the hospitality.

The friendly, helpful, service provided by the staff, and the honesty and service-orientation of those staff. All provisions, services and communications provided by the staff was top notch; there was nothing to dislike.

We stayed a week and couldn't speak more highly of the host. He was so friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed for a stress-free stay. Fantastic location, a 10-15 min walk to the Botanical Gardens and only 5-minute walk to restaurants. We arrived at midnight, and the lights were on, and the room was warm. Our room was on the top floor and was very quiet. I would highly recommend this motel.

Comfortable, quiet and clean. Washing machine in room, kitchenette. Bed large and comfy, nice bathroom. Balcony and good location. Host was welcoming and helpful. Carparking was good. Room airy and nice. Some paper towels in the kitchen would be great, minor point, but useful if you have facilities to make breakfast etc. Light in the room from outside meant light was in the room (the window with blinds).

Clean and attractive. Beds (we had twins) were comfortable, bathroom clean and updated, kitchenette was clean and updated, with handy appliances. Washer was convenient to catch up on travel laundry. It’s a very nice stay and I would stay again when in the area. Property manager was very nice and accommodating. Parking is a little tight; we had no problem with small car.

Host was amazing, friendly and welcoming. Very helpful with giving directions, great location, close to shops, restaurants. Room is comfortable spacious, tidy and bright.

Very clean, the host even provided hot plate to us.

Exceptional

Rubbish Wifi. Non existent as it kept kicking me out. Also tried to watch prime and it was terrible connectivity as well which was very frustrating.
