The location, the charming host, the variety and quality of breakfast options, and the advice on what to see and where to have dinner in the immediate area. There was nothing that was off or disappointing.

Clean and comfortable room. Nice breakfast - though we felt rushed by staff and had to request some things that were all gone (eggs, toast, croissants), even though we arrived for breakfast more than 30 mins before end of breakfast time. We felt like our “late” arrival (even though well within the breakfast window) was an inconvenience. We had a long day the day before and didn’t think 30 mins before close of breakfast would be an issue. But it felt like it was not appreciated, even though within the policy. Quite right car parking (maybe better normally, but some work going on).

Loved the heritage building and the cosy, inviting atmosphere. Communal areas are filled with character, exceptionally warm. Location is fantastic. Loved everything about the property.
