Lamp light didn't work, check in process was difficult as couldn't understand staff or digital check in. Nothing was explained to us. Bar staff rude

Handy location comfortable stay No window to open

Good location and walked / trammed about. Nice little cafe downstairs where you have breakfast. Reasonable price and decent value option. Breakfast budget didn't stretch very far. Quirky style may not suit everyone.

The parking is a little inconvenient

The location in the CBD made it convenient to walk around.

The location is excellent to explore Christchurch. The complimentary bkfst is a food credit at the cafe in the lobby - it had a great selection and the food we selected was excellent (and the credit was more than enough to pay for our bkfst). The King Bed was very comfortable and good quality sheet linens. Lobby was temporary due to upgrade, small elevator, and room was very small, challenging to find luggage space for two suitcases (only 1 luggage rack).

Renovation was ongoing making it a little inconvenient.

The rooms are comfortable and the location is close to many shops and restaurants. The bathrooms are nicely designed. We were in town during the Electric Avenue Festival and rooms were priced much higher than normal. Hotel parking is two small blocks away.

Great location, well appointed rooms. Minor - there were quite a few reminders (emails and an sms) for online check-in the week prior to our stay, which was difficult to complete when we were travelling with limited internet access.

Location was great and staff were helpful Rooms were on the small side but we weren’t there much since there is so much to see and do.

Comfortable bed, clean Good location to restaurants and shopping. Sad to hear that the receptionist will be replaced with a screen to self check in.

It was clean and walking distance to the main shopping area, restaurants, trolley and the train/bus station. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

Nice and comfy No microwave

Location was superb. When looking for a hotel I specifically filtered on parking. This hotel showed parking was available. However, they don't have parking. They do use a 3rd parking provider that was off the property and a 3 minutes walk away (as the receptionist politely informed me when I asked) While the walk wasn't arduous it was not the parking I sorted for. If I was a woman comin gin at night the last thing I want to do is walk somewhere else to park. If it was raining I'd have gotten wet. My issue is why advertise you have parking when you don't. Any member of public can access that open, (unsealed) parking spot.

Location and breakfast were great. Staff was very helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. The temperature of the room was either hot or cold. If we set the thermostat at 20 degrees, the air conditioner ran all night. If we turned off the thermostat, the room became way to hot.

Great location, comfortable bed, nice rooftop bar. Parking is two blocks away.
