Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati Midtown

Initially I had some doubts but it turned out to be an okay stay. The carpeting in the elevators and hallways was visibly dirty, which was a turn off, but fortunately it was not like that in my room. The room was very clean and comfortable and all staff with whom I interacted were polite, friendly, and attentive. Those are most important things which is why I say it was an okay stay. I did have to change rooms however because the control for the AC did not work in the first room that they gave me. But they did move me quickly and easily and without a fuss and the next room was fine - very comfortable and clean. No complaints about that. Regarding the food service, the hotel restaurant serves a very good burger. Other than that, there are not a lot of options on the dinner menu. The breakfast buffet is very good. Guests should be aware though that it isn't included in the room rate. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. Thumbs up for them. The layout of the restaurant may not be to everyone's liking however. Essentially, there is no separation between the dining tables and the check-in lobby. Some diners may be put off by the commotion of arriving and departing guests passing by with luggage, Dashers coming in with deliveries, people on their phones calling taxis, and so on. It isn't conducive to sitting down for a quiet meal. Overall, it was an okay stay, but it could be much better if they cleaned the carpets and did something about the restaurant.

This was a very pleasant stay for me. The location was great, staff was friendly and the room was clean. I can't ask for more than that. I'll stay here again next time I'm in town.

The staff was exceptionally helpful. The restaurant and cook (Ms Carol) and front desk staff went above and beyond to make our stay easy and pleasant.

We were there for the Jazz Fest and the location was close to the stadium and the hotel was modern It wasn’t the cleanest but I assume it was due to fest and the hotel being busy

I didn’t like that breakfast was supposed to be included but there was a charge for it. I didn’t like a parking fee. Not in downtown area with limited parking. Very large room and clean

It was a convenient location to our purposes It was mostly clean & the room was mostly quiet Not very dog friendly to find an area for relieving themselves Elevator was down half the time & pool was closed part of the time. Staff were brusk at times about issues we had no control over.

Staff were wonderful, amenities were great and the stay was great. The room could have been a bit cleaner as I noticed the carpets and flooring were dirty and parts of the bathroom were not touched up.
