Motel 6 Clarkston, WA

Super value for money. Great location. Right next door is a decent Italian for eat in or take out. Short walk to the river where we were lucky enough to see a couple of deer. Supermarket and drive thru takeout’s easily walkable, as is one bar with many games to play. Staff member recommended another bar, short 20 minute walk through the town to their great range of local beers. Great for a stop.

Air conditioner was very loud

We got in very late in the evening. The staff was very nice. I did ask about a down stairs room due to having bad knees and hips, its painful to go up and down stairs. She said there were not any available. But the next morning there were several. The room was pretty clean. There was trash and dog poo scattered here and there. There was loads of cob webs on the railings for the upstairs and stairway. We were there 2 nights. If I had not prepaid and would have lost that money we would have moved to a different hotel.

The most horrible and disgusting stay ever I wanted a refund immediately

Meh- clean room with lumpy beds & flat pillows. Manager said they've really cleaned up the place, so I had higher expectations. Low quality materials & poor workmanship are glaringly evident.

Lots of parking, friendly staff but rough neighborhood.

Bed was horrible, outside had trash everywhere. Couldn't sleep due to the noise. I arrived at 11pm and had to be at work at 0739.. No sleep. Don't waste your money.

The property was clean and the staff was helpful. price was reasonable. The property is pretty beat up and needs general maintenance and update.

Check-in was very easy. Was able to get an extra towel very easy. Parking was close so we could see our car from the hotel room. Could tell that the pool is currently being fixed/painted, and/or they are trying to fix tile and have not gotten it completed.

Typical motel 6. Nothing fancy but the room was clean and quiet.

On May 27th, during the reservation process, we revealed that we were traveling with a cat. We were assured by the reservation agent that a cat would be acceptable at the Clarkston Motel 6. As part of our due diligence, we made a special phone call to the Clarkston Motel 6 front desk to verify that a cat was acceptable for our visit. We were assured that the reservation agent was correct and our cat would be acceptable. We then sent a message to the Clarkston Motel 6, through Booking.com, that we were traveling with a cat and had verified with the reservation agent and the front desk personnel that our cat was acceptable. We did not receive any further communication from the Clarkston Motel 6 at this time. On June 25th, less than 24 hours before our scheduled and paid for visit to the Clarkston Motel 6, we were informed that our cat would not be allowed to stay at the facility. We were told that our only option would be to cancel our reservation and forfeit our already completed payment. This put us in a very difficult situation, which required a change to our previously scheduled plans and required us to locate an alternative lodging at very short notice and additional expense. We have stayed at other Motel 6's in the past. However, due to this experience and the very poor communication from the Clarkston Motel 6, we will never consider making reservation with any other Motel 6 in the future. At the very least, the Clarkston Motel 6 owes us a complete refund for the room we paid for but were not allowed to use.

Location Even though I’d called after booking to make sure they knew I had a pet, they didn’t reflect it on my reservation! The room we were moved to only had one set of towels… the door had been busted at one time and didn’t close properly…
