After staying 2 nights at RW(countless nites in 9 years) on what would have been my last nite I decided to stay another day. I booked an additional nite on Hotels.com as I have several times in the past. At 9am as is their practice housekeeping began knocking and rushing folks to vacate down the hall, at my door I explained booking another nite, didn’t need anything from the cart & shut the door. The proprietor calls at 1030 to let me know I owe a fee that needs to be paid immediately for “early -check- in.” This is not stated anywhere on hotels.com or the hotel’s www, nor is it posted or advertised in the office. I explained this and why I questioned the fee because I’ve never been charged there or at any other hotel ranging from The W or Caesar’s Palace down to cheap hotels such as this; I asked what was I to do to avoid additionally charges since I’d never experienced this. A RUDE, SMUG attitude glared back at me as he said: vacate and come back at 2p. Now if I just arrived at 10:30 for a 2p check in I could understand, not after a 3 night stay when the hotel is clearly almost empty. Now, It’s his dump and I’m sure it’s his prerogative to add whatever gouges he wishes, but that doesn’t make it right. But be warned these people will give you 2 thread bearing towels and a ding un rag, and the next day to charge extra for being a good customer. No thank you. I cancelled my reservation and stayed across the street.

Also a concern is the growing, ever changing list of up charges or fees the management try to impose that have no documentation or explanation’s It like a buffet line priced à la carte.

But not good. Rude shady staff!

Room was clean, quiet and staff was always there to assist.

There are a few additional fees not mentioned by hotels.com that are shady at best. This bothered me. A $40 upgrade to stay in the room you have extended a night in from 11a (check out) to 2p (check in). No where was this disclosed on the app or in person. I would havd had to vacate and then return a few hours later after paying $70 for each nite already. Fishy at best.

How easy it was to reserve a room. How nice the staff was, and how clean the room was. Also how very close gas and food was to the room. Could have walked and got food. Plan on staying again for my future trips. Thank you. Nothing really. It was right off the highway making it easy to find it and get back on the highway the next day. Plentiful parking, so no complaints there either. I wish I got there earlier to enjoy the facility.

I stay at this hotel/motel often when in Clarksville. It is very reasonably priced as one of the cheapest hotels, yet it is clean, everything offered is available, working and it feels safe. It is also in a really good location, I can walk to get breakfast or lunch, Walmart is around the corner, not too far from I24 and located in densely populated blvd which is a shopping and dinning district. I’m not looking for the Ritz Carlton, sometimes it’s nice to splurge. But this hotel works for me and at often more than half the price of some mid-range hotels.

Stayed here a few times before!! No problems except I had to put up $60 deposit besides my credit card!! A little aggravating bet I guess it is the world we live in! Clean quiet!

The fact that we got double charged I told I would not be as the reservation was for the following night and had to be changed very disappointed

However, Expedia said they had a continental breakfast available....they don't have that...even the card in the room said they did. Also, Expedia claimed they had EV charging....they don't. Nothing wrong with motel, just false advertising.

This was the worse experience I ever had. The manager and employees was so disrespectful. They follow us around and they were even peeping in my daughter room. They put us out and call the police on us. We just check in we only sat our bags down didn’t even us the restroom. They told us we had to leave for no reason they didn’t even want to talk or hear nothing from us. Out of all my 68 years I never ever had this to happen to me. We were there for a funeral of our loved ones.we travel from Michigan to Clarksville Tennessee We had 3 rooms double beds and they said it was 2 many people it was 12 of us 4 people to a room I couldn’t understand what happened.. I would never ever book a room there at Rodeway inn and suites again. Not even recommended it to anyone. They refuse to give us our money back for 1 night because they said the room was messy when you put a deposit down it cover whatever damages or mess so if the room was messy why they give us our deposit back and take the first night payment from us make it make sense. Bad business
