Residence Inn By Marriott St. Louis Clayton

Room was fantastic. We checked in after midnight and our keycard wouldnt work for the nearby garage. After going back and forth from the garage to the desk three times, she told me to park in the valet spot up front since the valet was off duty and she would refund the parking for me. I picked up the car at 7:30am right after the valet had started her shift. Later that day after checking out I was disappointed to see that I was charged $20 on my credit card that was left to cover incidental expenses. I can see paying the fee if I had a seamless experience but I did not.

Bedding and carpets were fresh and clean. Room is oversized so very comfortable!

Parking garage, the water after washing hands or showering left a slimy feel on the skin (too much water softener maybe?), one of the staff members at the check in desk was unprofessional (on phone, talking loudly to others).

Great comfortable stay. Room had a kitchen. Across from beautiful Shaw Park, was a lovely place to walk. Parking limited but ramp nearby.

Great location to restaurants and easy access to highways. Far walk to parking area. Summer not so bad, but I think winter time would be difficult.

Breakfast was good. Variety of cold and hot. Maybe the self park option.

Great place and great location

My wife and I stayed the night here for a "staycation". The staff were all courteous. The room was very spacious and the breakfast in the morning, which was included in the room price, was above most mid-level hotels. It included omelets, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, various fruits, waffles, yogurt, etc. Pretty much something for anyone. They have a small bar and several outdoor seats to look out to Shaw Park. Would highly recommend for a staycation or the business traveler coming in from elsewhere. There are lots of outlets and sitting areas on the main lelve for business travelers.

We had a corner room which was excellent and huge. Everything we needed. The location, across from Shaw Park and a half block from an upscale grocery store was fantastic. The parking isn’t great, but valet service is only $5 more than the self-parking.

Came to town for just a spring break getaway, I just want to let everyone know the staff at this hotel is phenomenal. From the moment I walked in into the moment I left they are all so friendly and just make you feel welcome. The hotel itself is beautiful and it’s very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
