Great, I recommend. Not the best with kids( no water park or playground, but we still liked it. Nice pool. Clean and new rooms.Cold A/C

The property is tired and needs a refresh. The elevator service was terrible. The rooftop bar which was advertised was closed for renovations. Not coming back or will not go to another AC brand hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. Room had a great view, the staff were really friendly and helpful, the only thing was the towels, some of them seemed not clean and had hair on them…other than that everything else was excellent!!

It was close to everything very convenient! We had to use two different elevators just to get to our room. On the last day we finally found an elevator that went to the room in one trip

Property was clean, facing the water. Charging $100/day for incidentals was unreal. I understand it is returned if nothing is charged to your room but that was a bit much. Website only says $100, not per day. Ridiculous! Then extra $47 for”taxes” on top of what Booking quoted for price that taxes and fees were already added. No car by the way.

Nice service crew The price i rsvp on Book.com is different from being charged once i stay. If it was $190/ night at the time i rsvp, i would have rsvp different hotel for that price.

The check-in desk is on the 5th floor which is rather odd. Check-in service was standard. The breakfast area as well as the pool is on the 5th floor. The pool is relatively small but still enjoyable. We did not opt for breakfast at this hotel so we cannot judge that. They do have high-quality coffee in the lobby 24 hours. The lobby area had severe leaks in the outer glass wall to the pool which caused flooding in the lobby during the heavy rains on our 1st day. Apparently, this has been a known issue for some time where no one appears to know when this will be fixed. Regarding parking; there is no free parking in the area and you have to be careful parking anywhere since incorrect parking will cause towing. This hotel offers valet parking for $38 per night and you are NOT allowed to park yourself. You can try to park overnight at one of the smaller hotels in the vicinity but that still sets you back $20 per night and you will have to pick up your car at the daily checkout time of that hotel. Distance to the beach is manageable, maybe 10 minutes so it is convenient. It can get busy very quickly. It is a beautiful beach where you can stay or walk along the beach path all the way to the city center or to pier 60. There is a market store relatively close by where you can get bread, milk (when available) and other perishable items, all at a premium of course :-).

Rooms are very nice, we were able to see Clearwater Beach from our window which was a nice surprise since we didn't book an ocean view room. The biggest disappointments were the parking - Expedia says valet parking available for $38. They don't tell you that is REQUIRED. And honestly, it's pretty crappy to not add that into the price of the rooms. No respectable hotel charges extra for parking. The other issue I had was the rooftop bar, which was closed. We were not told this until after we checked in. It was a huge disappointment since that was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. But the parking...that was just unacceptable.
