First incident: On the night of June 29, I asked the receptionist if the spa massage was available. She initially told me it was, but another receptionist interrupted and insisted that the spa was closed, even though it was actually open. I was very upset by the situation, so I went to the reception desk on the right-hand side of the hotel entrance and asked again. They kindly called the spa to confirm, and it turned out that the spa was indeed open. I was able to have my massage, but this inconsistency and lack of communication between the staff was very frustrating. Second incident: I checked in very early on June 29 at around 2:00 AM. I had already paid for the full night of June 28, and I was promised complimentary breakfast. However, I never received the complimentary breakfast, and there was no warm welcome upon arrival. Third incident: During check-out, I was told that I had not paid for my stay. I explained that I had already made the payment and even showed proof of the transaction. Despite this, I was asked to pay again. Only after checking their records did they realize that I had already paid, and they refunded the extra payment. This caused unnecessary stress and should not have happened. The hotel is lovely, the rooms are comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing. However, the staff need much better communication, training, and customer service. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the hotel.

Breakfast continues to be top notch. Price has gone up considerably with respect to age of property. Cleanliness can be improved. Can see that the property is starting to show its age. Hopefully a renovation is done soon.

Location The stay experience overall was comfortable, and the staff were helpful. However, I was disappointed with a few aspects considering the pricing and expectations from a premium hotel like Crowne Plaza. The food experience did not feel worth the price. The quality and variety felt quite average and similar to what could be found in much lower priced hotels. I expected a more premium dining experience that matched the hotel's standards and pricing. Another concern was the water experience. The hot water supplied in the restaurant, once it cooled down, had a noticeable chlorine like smell. In addition, the regular drinking water supplied in the room did not taste pleasant. Small details like food and water quality make a big difference in the overall guest experience, especially at a premium property. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

The hotel needs to improve the services in the restaurant, And, the towels needs replacements. They don't neet 4 star rating. The prices are premium but services need improved.

The check-in process was smooth, with Ms. Pujan and Ms. Portia proving very efficient and courteous, setting a welcoming tone right away. Our room was spotlessly clean and quiet, offering a stunning view of the backwaters that made relaxation effortless. The breakfast and dinner buffets featured excellent variety and choice, while the concierge desk was exceptionally helpful, assisting us in booking a memorable backwaters punting cruise. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends and family.
