Had a wonderful stay in the Signature Suite at the Taj! Enjoyed the view of the island from the balcony and the luxe feel of the room and property. The staff at the Taj Malabar are truly so hospitable, warm, and attentive! Huge shoutout to the Guest Relations Manager, Elizabeth, for going above and beyond to make my mother's milestone birthday celebration a memorable one! Really enjoyed the sunset cruise, and it was so nice to hear many interesting details of Cochin's history from Elizabeth. The music played by the flute artist on board, Prasad, was a wonderful and soothing touch to the ride as well. Special mention of Ahilan from the Rice Boat restaurant, for all his food recommendations! They were spot on! The Taste of Kerala, 4-course seafood meal at the RIce Boat, is simply delicious, especially the squid and sea bass preparations! Another fantastic food item was the chocolate truffle cake. Lipsmacking good!! Many thanks to Alex and Suriya, as well, for their jovial and warm hospitality at the equally delightful Pepper restaurant. On behalf of my mother and sister, thank you, Taj Malabar, and we look forward to revisiting in the near future!

The property is beautiful, with very polite and helpful staff. The room was excellent, very clean, and had a comfortable bed. Even though we had a basic room, the view was good. The garden is the highlight. It is expansive and located right next to the water, with beautiful gazebos and a lovely poolside restaurant. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning. The curtains were not blackout, and the service was somewhat inattentive. I had requested towels, but they were forgotten, and I had to call again while in the middle of my shower. This is not what one would expect from Taj Hotels. The overall upkeep of the property did not meet Taj standards. The grass appeared untrimmed, and maintenance felt lacking. Poolside service was also inattentive, with no staff available to take a drink order.

Fantastic dining facilities, great food and prep. We enjoyed all the restaurants and the food. Fish, meats, and Kerala specialities were especially good. We loved the toddy, and other cocktails. Our son really enjoyed the great music.

Breakfast was very good and provided lot of choices. The dinner choices were also good at Pepper restaurant. Elizabeth was awesome! She had tremendous knowledge of the Kochi area and its history and gave us a great boat tour in the evening! I had booked a heritage room overlooking water view. There was a private event on the last night that had very loud music past 11 PM at night and that made every difficult to sleep. I complained about it the hotel was able to compensate for part of the room rent. Taj should appropriately manage such events to avoid bothering guests who pay lot of money to stay at the property.

Incredible property and location. It's a smaller Taj compared to their typical size, but this adds to the charm. Staff were super friendly and accomdating to all our requests. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.

We enjoyed the meals in the hotel very much. The Chinese chef Mr. Luo and Chef Apoona extended his assistance beyond our expectations so are the team in the Peppers. Well done and keep in touch..

I loved the serene atmosphere, the exceptional hospitality, and the attention to every detail that made my stay unforgettable While I enjoyed the comfort and hospitality, I wish there were more activities and facilities for children. A kids’ playroom or fun zone would be a wonderful addition to make the stay more enjoyable for families.

The hotel was exceptional and the staff were brilliant, Jasmine made sure that we had an incredible stay and we cannot thank her enough!

All the food we ate was excellent. The staff were always friendly and often went above and beyond to make us comfortable during our stay. The hotel has been refurbished beautifully since our last visit in 2018. We will definitely return! When the hotel was offering an outside buffet in the evening as an alternative, the usual high level of attentive service in the main restaurant dropped off.
