Hotel Arches

The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was good as well. The breakfast food was fresh and delicious. The setting upstairs on the roof was very nice. Staff has umbrellas available to use and use for rain or protection against the hot sun. Location was excellent. Shower had a curtain but it had a good distance from the toilet. The floor did not get wet where it wasnt supposed to. The refrigerator did not cool down enough to keep our bottled waters cold. Also, for the price, $72 US dollars was high for 3 star hotel.

The hotel is very well located. I found the bed comfortable. The terrace on the roof is very nice. I believe I got food poisoning from eating sambar at the breakfast. Both myself and my wife vomited a lot a few hours after breakfast without having eaten anywhere else. I alerted the hotel and they said they will look into it.

Great location right in Fort Kochi in an old colonial building. Great rooftop breakfast place. Downstairs air conditioned restaurant was excellent also. Staff were friendly and very helpful in organizing travel arrangements further afield for our trip. Great price also. Highly recommended for any stay in Kochi.

I was there with my son for three nights. Fantastic location! Excellent breakfast! Very cordial staffs! Well maintained polished wooden construction! We extended one more day of our stay. The hotel discounted the extra day fees on their own. There is nothing which I did not like about the hotel!

The hotel was lovely and the staff really helpful. They organised pick up and drop off taxis for me. There's a good restaurant downstairs and room service. The location is excellent with everything in walking distance. The only issue I had was the shower had very little pressure and the water was cool 80% of the time. Everything else was great.

We had a night stay in Arches. The stay was nice and comfortable. If someone is looking for value for money stay in Fort Kochi then Hotel Arches is highly recommended. Also the restaurant Rasoi serves good food.

Excellent staff, all facilities functional, very good breakfast, very clean and comfortable in a charming heritage building.

We stayed at Hotel Arches, Fort Cochin in late March, 2025. Very nice staff and a great location for easy walking around the town. Room #202 was a pleasant, clean, large-enough room with a large bed, bedside tables and lights, 2 rattan chairs with a table, a wardrobe and hangers, a luggage shelf, a refrigerator, and a long dresser. Wet bathroom, but the shower curtain helped to keep most of the water away from the rest of the room. Nice toiletries. Daily cleaning if you want it. 2 bottles of water a day. It was very pleasant to have breakfast on the rooftop however it'd be a good idea to change at least a few breakfast options every other day or so. And maybe offer pots of tea instead of small cups, and better bread.
