Old Harbour Hotel

The atmosphere in this hotel is beautiful, graceful, and comfortable. It is an oasis. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious. Highly recommend. The beds are a little hard.

The staff is very pleasing and the hotel has a great location. It is not an SLH standard by any means. Room rates of 30,000Rs per night but the facility did have working phones in the rooms, open bathrooms which are very impractical, service in the restaurant is very slow and food is mediocre at best. Cannot be labeled an SLH at all.

This is a heritage property in a great location in Fort Kochi. The room was spacious and staff was courteous and responsive. The beds were comfortable. The highlight of this property is the wonderful large outdoor courtyard filled with trees and flowers and the sounds of many birds where we ate our meals. The food was good and reasonably priced. This place was an oasis in a bustling small city during the New Year's celebrations.

Old Harbour was as central as you could get in Cochin and really beautiful – also a respite from the street-craziness of central Cochin. The staff felt like family friends by the end of our visit and the restaurant honestly couldn’t be beat – our best meals in India were here. Nothing that I can think of – even the hotel mascot, Ginger the Cat was amazing.

Wonderful hotel with a perfect location. The gardens and swimming pool are beautiful. Our room (palace suite) was extremely clean and comfortable. The attention to detail at this property is top notch!

This was our favorite hotel we have ever stayed at. It has such a beautiful charm to it. The grounds are kept to such an amazing level of beauty. The rooms are everything you could want. The restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner and the cafe the hotel owns is fantastic. Also have to shout out the incredible animals they care for. Happy is my favorite dog ever, she is so sweet I miss her! There is truly nothing not to like about this property. I hope one day I can come back.

WOW. What a great experience. We wish we stayed a few more nights. Very enjoyable with Jude and his great team looking after us. Easily, the best stay we had in India.

Our rooms were clean, big and very lovely. We loved the view of the garden from the rooms. Also, the staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful with everything we needed.They noticed our son is having his birthday soon, so on the morning we left they made him a chocolate cake and also gave him a flower bouquet and we celebrated for him early birthday. All in all, we had great time and recommend the hotel. Nothing

Arrived from the UK and was so delighted with this first hotel, staff were very friendly, the room was clean, bed very comfortable and lots of character. I love an outside bathroom! A great stay.

We stayed there at low season. The beautiful garden, the well cared pool and the attentive service made it a charming oasis within the busy Kochi street life.

We absolutely loved staying at Old Harbour. What a beautiful, tranquil space away from the hustle and bustle outside. There were lots of options on my list when looking to stay in Fort Kochi, but this hotel seemed to have more authenticity and charm, and it certainly lived up to those expectations. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The pool and garden were wonderful - lots of lush trees and exotic birds. The laundry service was exceptional (took our whites from brown back to white again). The staff were friendly and hospitable - a special mention for Sukesh, the evening/morning manager, who went above and beyond to talk to all the guests and ensure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their stay. He was so kind, warm and caring. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were lovely, very accommodating from the moment we stepped out of our taxi. Very kind to our children and took the time to learn their names. The pool was lovely, the food was excellent. We also got upgraded on arrival which is always nice!

The Old Harbour hotel is located very convieniently in Fort Kochi, many attractions being only a few minutes walk away. The building itself is very quaint and amenable for longer periods of rest - for instance, at the swimming pool. We really enjoyed the hotel breakfast (included), and the food & wine we occasionally ordered for dinner.

The hotel had a wonderful feel, great atmosphere, fabulous service. All staff were extremely friendly and polite. Jude kindly organised a taxi service even for the days following our stay with Old Harbour. Location is perfect, close to the sea and the tradtional Chinese fishing nets. Food was wonderful too. I can strongly recommend this hotel and I'd love to go back. Our rooms were spacious and had a great view but probably due to the age of the hotel smelt a little humid. It would not put me off returning though, we loved it
