Very modern, clean, central and convenient - 8 minutes walk from train station, and the UNESCO cathedral - even less if you catch the underground (only 1 stop). Delightful location, the window overlooks a very attractive old style, lively but not crazy plaza. A really relaxed café downstairs, also right on the plaza. The whole center of town is alll in walking distance. Great, chill way to experience Koln nothing really! I was thinking "Oh no,not another place with no host on site." But in fact, it works just fine, they've thought of most needs already, and if you do need some help, they answer the phone quickly and are quite friendly.

Great location, with everything you need around. Good soundproof from outside The room was not clean: dusty lamps and doors, dirty walls. Some walls looked like they were in the middle of a unfinished paint job (walls half painted, etc). There were stains of paint on the curtains and furniture. This is unacceptable. They were doing drills in the building at 8:15 am.

The hotel was clean and in a very central location. Very noisy at night, with drunk people gathering and shouting downstairs throughout the night. As it was summer, we had to keep the windows open because there was no fan or other ventilation option. Unfortunately, we had a very poor sleeping experience.

Location Difficulty checking in. The automated system didn't recognize the reservation and didn't issue the card. Several calls to the call center until it was resolved.

For me, the staff-less checkin and checkout is amazing, since I know my way around technology Waited for some people in front to figure out how the electronic self checkin system works. Finding the door code in my emails was a bit difficult. Hallway is a bit narrow

Excellent Location for Christmas Markets, one right outside, easy to check in too.
