This hostel is located in the heart of Cologne’s trendy Belgian Quarter, 1.2 mi from Cologne Cathedral and the Rhine Embankment. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft offers free Wi-Fi and design interiors. All rooms at die Wohngemeinschaft Cologne are individually decorated on a unique theme. As rooms are randomly assigned per room category, please send us a message for a specific room request. Rooms feature parquet floors and views of Cologne, while shared bathroom facilities are located in the hallway. The café on the ground floor serves snacks, coffee and wonderful pastries. In the evenings, it is transformed into a popular bar with live DJs. A separate room is used as a theater and venue for cultural events. Guests can also play table tennis or hang out in one of the individually designed rooms. The common lounge is open 24/7 and is decorated in a classic 1950s style. Free coffee and tea are provided, as well as DVDs and books. Hostel die Wohngemeinschaft is a 2-minute walk from Moltkestraße Underground Station and a 4-minute walk from Rudolfplatz Underground Station. Cologne Main Station can be reached in under 30 minutes on foot.

Each room has a theme which was so fun! There is a bar and restaurant downstairs which you get a discount at and it’s good food. It’s very safe because you need a key to make the elevator get to the room floors. They brought my bags up for me since u got there early. Gave me a map with good recommendations on what to do which was really nice to have since my phone wasn’t working. The beds were so comfortable and queen size with curtains, reading lights, and a little ledge for phones and books. Honestly I have no problems or dislikes at all!

It is a comfortable place location is a bit far off from all public transport. Takes at least a 15-20 minutes walk. Becomes difficult if you are carrying luggage.

The hostel was very cool. Had everything you needed, the rooms and facilities were clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was in a good area. They had a bar/cafe. One of the nicest hostels I've been to. Nothing.

Comfort bed. Clean and well equipped bathroom, even though it's shared. Very friendly and welcoming staff. During the summer, the room could get a little warm, especially if you need to draw the curtain of your bed for privacy.

No aircon in the room, and we did not get the room we had booked (each has a theme and we had sent a reauest to get a specific one, which the hostel had confirmed)

It was the perfect location, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the other guests were so friendly and helpful, the beds were like a 1 and a half size with a certain, excellent kitchen facilities with free produce, tea, coffee and bottled water. Oh and ginger shots. Breakfast available for €11 which was beautiful. Bathrooms always clean. Hot water always available. Just a very pleasant stay in a welcome hostel in the wonderful Cologne. I can’t think of anything, I was so happy staying here.

Nice area, nice atmosphere and the hostel is very cool The cleaning woke me up sweeping the floors at 7am, it was very noisy.

I was staying in a mixed dorm room and loved how there was curtains so I was able to shut myself out from everyone around me. Also found the theme of the room really cool and how massive the bed was for a bunk. How there was only 2 toilets on my floor.

Located in well cantered area , staff was really friendly and kind . A perfect kitchen , with coffee and tea available . Size of bed is good so you can sleep comfortably .
