If you are staying above the lobby expect loud noise from downstairs lobby. The doors of many rooms bang due to wind. The breakfast could be.more diverse.

Right by ferry, rustic but not old, friendly staff

Great location. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Had hot water and even cleaned the room after the first night. Breakfast, not a complaint as much it’s just toast, cereal, tea or coffee. I’m not much of a breakfast person

It's a good hotel, clean, centrally located, nice stuff. Breakfast was ok. It was very quiet, but I also got lucky with the room. There are many rooms with windows facing the corridor, if I had this I wouldn't be so happy.

My day was excellent and the staff was superb. My check in was so complete that I couldn't stop smiling. The breakfa

Breakfast is not bad but it would be nicer to have some cheese or cream cheese

The rooftop was wonderful. The location is very good. They had a sweet main floor level courtyard as well. The breakfast was nice. With the exception of the revving tour buses that wait outside during the day, by the cultural art shop across the street Viajero Posada is very peaceful. This is more like a two or three star hotel. The other hotel guests were very respectful and the staff is fantastic. The hotel is on the older side and the bathroom was on the shabby side. However, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and the bidet was nice. The window curtains in our room had some light stains on them. Otherwise, the room was clean.

It was centrally located and easy to get from ferry and around town. The property is not as clean as we would have liked. The rooftop needs some attention…the shower doesn’t work and the area looks unused except for a couple of chairs. The room door lock is difficult to work, so we left it unlocked at night in case of any emergency.

Cattle in the room would be great. Breakfast spread and organization could be better.

They let us use their sister hotel with pool while we waited for our ferry Nothing
-
Someone stole some jewelry from our room out of an unlocked suitcase - of course we should have locked our case but still you should not have to worry about people getting into your room and rifling through you stuff
-
Breakfast was insufficient and not varied. They kept running out of milk and there was no cheese.
-
For the price point, could have been more updated and had more amenities.

I arrived in a very hot day at Colonia and the air condition take a while to cool off the room. There is no elevator and you need to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. ( The staff is very helpful and bring it up).

I really liked this hotel. The staff are fantastic! The woman working at the front desk let me store my bags in the hotel for a few hours after checking for free and let me borrow an electrical adaptor for my stay. The breakfast is good and the location is great. The rooms are nice and have everything you would need. No complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Colonia.

The fact that the main door need a phisical key to be opened, not easy to handle.

Great location on the edge of the old town, across from the water. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was small and basic. No drinking water provided. But it was fine for one night.

Location was great, right by the city wall entrance and less than 10 minute walk to the bus and ferry stations. Breakfast was simple but decent. Staff was nice. The room was very basic and they lost power right when I got there and it took a while to get the circuit breaker working. The receptionist was trying hard to figure it out but was frustrating.
