The staff was exceptional. I would definitely stay there again.

The old building has a lot of character and the decoration is quite fun. The heated pool in the lush courtyard is an excellent feature The sheets are thin, mattresses hard, pillows flat and lumpy. We could have used a nice blanket, as the night was chilly when we were there. The shower was very dark. Breakfast was not great, the coffee was quite bad and the melon had gone vinagre-y. For $180 we hoped for more comfort.

Location, helpful staff Breakfast was all too sweet. Nothing for people trying to avoid sugar
-
Location of my room was near entrance.
-
The internet was substandard and the breakfast was bad. No eggs and bad bread
-
Good location - close to bus and ferry terminals and everything in the town The room was very small - bed and pillows hard so not that comfortable - air conditioner was not working and only one small window to get fresh air in the room but no screen so mosquitos came in too. Breakfast was minimal.

Location. Beautiful decor. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and linen. Nice staff:

The bathroom in the room did not have the proper structure to ensure privacy. The plugs were old and not in good shape.

Not a lot of English speakers, but that is true of Uruguay . It just requires a little more effort and good translation phone apps.

Muy rico y abundante

Lovely place Very limited English spoken.Makes it more difficult for those with very limited Spanish. However, all staff tried very hard to assist in every way.

Perfect location near old town but walking distance to Port and Bus terminal Towels could have been cleaner (clean but dingy white) and bedding could have had duvet

The hot tub is nice, the location is good and close to the ferry/bus terminal. The breakfast is amongst the best I’ve had in South America.

Location is excellant to get to and from the port as well as walking into the old part of town. The breakfast was good. Even though our room was at the front door it was very quiet. We weren't told anything about the facililties when we arrived. We had a small room by the front door and weren't even told there was a common room to use.

The property is well set up in a cute old building and nicely decorated (colors and angels) with nice pool, very close to old city. But in a quiet alley. The staff is really friendly.

Friendly, lovely garden and swimming pool. Great location.

Lovely garden area, very friendly staff, great breakfast, very good location. Very classic pousada, a bit old but comfortable enough. Pool water was a bit warm! Old pipes in the building made disruptive noises throughout the night. Best to get a room facing outdoors with direct access to fresh air and outside light.
