This is the most beautiful hotel I stayed at in Uruguay. It is a hidden gem, with old world charm, gorgeous rooms, and excellent staff. The breakfast was outstanding and everyone there was so kind.

The pool. The breakfast. The location. It had a garage within the building. For the price, nothing. I could not ask for anything else.

Room and bathroom, especially, need a bit of an updating. But overall ok for 2 nights.

The location is excellent, and the hotel is quite big with a nice structure, including a pool. Since I only stayed one night, I didn’t have time to use it. (I got a triple room) I felt the rooms could have been better maintained. The exterior and even the common areas of the hotel are well organized, but the room seemed in need of renovation and had a slight musty smell. I also thought the breakfast was a bit limited.

Friendly staff. Hotel was 7 mins walk from the busstation and from the ferry to Buenos Aires. There was a small swimming pool at the hotel Hotel was in need of modernisation and room was small but ok for one night

The decorations and furniture in the lobby and common areas were quality craftsmanship. Very impressive It was close enough to the ferry terminal maybe 3 blocks but about 6 blocks from the tourist area

Short walk from the action in Colonia. Colonia was a great city

Good location, nice entrance hall and friendly staff. Colonia del Sacramento however is a beautiful place! Our room for one night was just close to the reception and was very noisy. Doors and infrastructure inside is very old. Our room was quite smelly every time we would come back to the hotel. I really hope that the hotel manages to do some restoration.

The breakfast was very good, and the water pressure was great. This isn't always the case in small town hotels in Uruguay. I didn't use the pool, but my companion did. This was a nice surprise. The wifi was robust enough for me to have a long meeting in my room. This was a very pleasant surprise. The decor was a bit vintage 90s, and I didn't love it. It was all a bit run down. But everything worked as expected, there were no unpleasant surprises.
