Nova Posada

Unfortunately there was a “motorcycle race” around town which sounded like it started right outside our window, going on every few minutes until 4am. The loudness outside, making it impossible to sleep even with closed windows

Good, not over the top. pastries, cold-cuts, fruit, yogurt, coffee, tea.... No elevator, but staff very helpful with luggage and tried to accommodate questions though English was limited.

Location and breakfast. Very good value and would stay again !

Good location and good staff The hotel as kind of different from the pictures: the room were "older" than expected, some maintenance was needed, shower/douche wasnt good and wet the whole bathroom. The bedroom smells musty. Breakfast had few options, with no eggs, cheese, ham and etc. There are certainly better options for the same price.

Walking on the upper floor was pretty loud, not the company's fault at all

The staff were not just friendly and efficient, they were cheerful, which is very rare in hotel staff. Good price and decent breakfast. Although my room was fine, I woke up in the morning covered in mosquito bites.

In small little Colonia, everything is close by. Walk to/from the ferry or bus terminal to Posada. Walk to old town quite easily. Rent a bicycle to get a little further out. Posada had a relaxed atmosphere so you could relax in the "back yard" with a drink and enjoy the fresh air. Restaurants abound in the walk to old town. The locals were always friendly. And the wine is just wonderful. Walk to old town for marvelous sunsets and meet new friends. Not really any issue that was negative. No fault of Posada, noise from some rude people woke me up one night. So I closed the window. Posada isn't on the main drag, but a block away from the noisier street.

Clean quiet nice simple breakfast. Small Inn style hotel. Wifi did not reach our second floor suite

Wifi was weak and mostly unusable in the room.

Good location and lovely breakfast Our room was ground floor, overlooking the street, and next the main entrance. Hence some noise from cars, street and other guests coming and going.

The breakfast was very good. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
