Motel 6 Colorado Springs, CO - Air Force Academy

Essentially, we were a little offended by the fact that the person who checked Us in assumed that everyone that was in the car with us was checking in when there were only two people and she said that she just didn't feel comfortable checking us into one room or checking us into the room that we booked because she thoughate would like bring people there. She did refund us our money but it was just the assumption that caught us off guard.

Stay away. They will charge a $75 deposit and then keep stating stains on towel are property damage. The towels were already stained. If staying long term, do not expect your room to be serviced. If you do ask for clean towels, they will consider this servicing your room.

The front desk lady was very helpful and friendly. I informed her of issues in the room I was in. I believe these issues will be resolved for future guests.

Avoid at all costs. Our stay on Aug 4th was likely the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel...and I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels in many countries, including other Motel 6. I rarely leave reviewers but do so as a warning as no one should endure this type of stay. were originally booked in to room 311. We were awoken at 2:00am to the sound of gushing water, the ceiling was leaking and saturated the entire bathroom and sink areas, including all our personal toiletry items and half of our clothes. When I called the front desk they didn't seem surprised by this info but I was given the option to change rooms, which I did. We moved to room 306. I was so tired, I didn't really survey the room or look closely, I simply set down my bag and tried to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed there were no towels, and no soap. Then I looked closer...I do not believe the room had been cleaned. There was a blood stain on the pillow ( not mine). there was a lot of long, black hair that was not mine (I have very short hair). Yhe trash can had a cup wrapper and empty cup that I did not put in there. This was insult after injury. I followed up with the hotel asking for a refund due to the myriad issues, but they were unwilling to do so.

The room was neat, but the linens had stains on. Had to purchase conditioner and shampoo for our room. The breakfast room had flying bugs in it.

This particular motel is conveniently located close to the restaurants, fast food options and a three minute drive to interstate 25.

Again, great value and location for the price. Employees are very nice and helpful. Checked in late, didn't have internet and no way was I going to call or go back to ask for assistance - only hiccup this time.

Was not very good using the shower. Out of all the Motel 6 that I have stayed at, this was the worse. The bed was hard and there were broken springs by the night stand so when sat down you fell in. This has made me to not ever use Motel 6 again. I would rather pay double than to be miserable at my vacation stays.

Would not recommend. The surrounding neighbors were all section 8 housing. This hotel appears to be section 8 housing. A/C is broken, cable box busted, wood flooring nails coming up, bathtub mold and mildew, bathroom tiles broken. Quite surprised the hotel gave me my deposit back. Restaurants nearby are typical. Close to the academy.

Always friendly service! Quiet and clean.

In my first room the WiFi did not work no matter what I reset, disconnected or restarted. I got moved to a new room which was an entire floor higher than my previous one. Also it would’ve been nice for the Hotel to make it known about the $75 room rental fee in advance.

This motel is conveniently located with excellent staff. The views are amazing and we really appreciate the pet friendly policy.

The front desk staff person was very friendly, and check in went smoothly. When I got to my room, it smelled badly of cigarette smoke, almost as if the room had been a smoking room previously or maybe someone had an extended stay and smoked often. It was way worse than a one and done kind of smell. I went to front desk to ask for another room. They told me it was impossible for someone to have smoked in the room since it wasn't allowed and that they likely smoked outside and it entered through the AC. They told me to open my door for a few hours, and that would help. It did not help, but I was only there for one night. Other than that incident and the overflowing trash cans, the stay was as expected. There was a grassy area nearby where I could take my dog to do her business. Garden of the Gods was a short drive away.

Not the best, I still haven’t gotten my security deposit back
