La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Colorado Springs South AP

It was one of the worst stays of my life. The first room we were given didn't have hot water. Only one elevator worked and our room was on the opposite side. Our second room was not as nice as the first. The tv barely worked. Also our room keys stopped working so I spent hours going back and forth with a crate full of groceries trying out reprogrammed keys. The attendant had to come replace the batteries. The keys stopped working the next day too. We received no turn down service the whole stay (three nights). We were credited a half night in Wyndham points but I won't be staying there again.

Front desk was vey polite

The property could have been cleaner . Especially since they charge a 150.00 dollar deposit when you can stay in Hilton and only pay a 50.00 deposit.

The room was clean, it just had a weird smell to it. Everything was organized and useful. The staff were nice. The breakfast was standard. They had a good option of things.

There was litter, my floor was sticky.The bed was comfy.Refrigerator stopped working while I was there.I had to throw all my food away.\nBreakfast was very limited and eating area was not very clean

My room was inexpensive and large, but it was in need of a renovation.

The worst very dirty carpets throughout the entire hotel. Very disgusting urinal in main lobby, room bath tub was so dirty with black ring of dirt in the tub. I have stayed at Laquinta hotels in the past but Colorado Springs was the worst in the chain that I have been to. Even meet 10 other guest with same problem with their room some guest even checked out to find a new hotel.

First, room keys did not work. Had to have new keys issued. Twice. The after hours back door did not lock. Easy entrance there. Within the room, the only some-what working light did not actually turn off by either a switch or knob. We had to unscrew.the.light.bulbs! The fact that there was no cable did not bother us as much as our neighbor, but that's only because we could hear their conversation through the wall.

It’s a quiet place

In the middle of a renovation and it definitely needs it. It was looking rough. I hope they dont half ass the remodel. Great location!

Dirty Blood in restroom Smoke smell ( place smoke free) supposed

Booked 2 rooms both were dirty. Was told they didn’t have any clean rooms and I could cancel my reservation and book somewhere else and to have Expedia contact them for a refund and they would approve. Left property booked elsewhere and when I requested a refund Expedia informed the hotel denied my request and falsely claimed we stayed there and refused refund. Will never stay at a La Quinta ever again

Don’t waste your time

Allison at the front desk was so helpful and would be the reason we would rebook here. She displayed exemplary professionalism and understanding related to the hospitality industry. Expedia made an error and their reps were unwilling to do anything to rectify the issue. Expedia booked 5 travelers in a room with 4 occupancy max per fire marshal. Expedia platform room details are incorrect as they showed the room was available for 5 travelers.

Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay. We specifically booked this hotel for the pool as we are local to Colorado and wanted to have a staycation. We did try calling the property two times before actually booking so we could confirm that the pool was open and never received a response or call back. Once we got there to check in it was too late to drive back home so when we saw that the pool was closed we stayed anyways. The property is nice and so was our room. The bathtub/bathroom was not super clean but overall we had a decent stay.

Room carpet was very dirty. It smells bad. I spent two nights with my family with my young kids and we can hardly sleep. In addition to that, there was no hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Telephone doesn’t work, hair dryer is out of order. We had to go to the front desk a couple of times to pick those up. I don’t recommend here to stay. Thanks

The property was clean and somewhat well maintained. A bit surprised that the staff couldn't give us a better room even after telling them that I have an elderly with us and has difficulty walking. They gave us a room at the 6th floor and one of their elevators wasn't working. We were told that the room was assigned when we booked online.

Nice clean and quiet. Easy access to the interstate but not noisy.
