Hilton Columbia Center

Great room, comfy beds, nice to have Ruth Chris in property. Loved getting water at check in. Close to campus. It was under construction. The breakfast for $32 was a bit disappointing for being in Ruth Chris (you would expect more and pay more since in that Restaurant). Parking was a bit confusing… they give you a pass to put in with your ticket… same price but almost paid twice , on bill and at exit). Overall great though, would stay again now that I know what to expect.

No microwave. Have to go down to the lobby for any heating. Other than that great

The location was wonderful, very close to good bars & restaurants. The A/C went out the first night we stayed there when it was storming & it got up to 75 degrees in our room. They were remodeling so the front lobby/entrance & the pool were closed, this was not disclosed on their website. The parking garage key card failed at least 3 times leading to us getting 2 new cards in our 4 day visit. We specifically asked the front desk for housekeeping for a set of 2 new towels, toilet paper & a new set of sheets. We never received new sheets & housekeeping never once visited our room. On the last day of our stay, 1/3 of the elevators were working and people were waiting 5-10 minutes just to catch a ride on the elevator.

Locate was good. It smelled good. They allowed us to check in 30 minutes early. I wish they would go back to getting into the hotels for less than 100 bucks a night.

Clean and quiet Parking lot

The air conditioner was extremely loud . I did sleep much that night. The carpet was that fresh in the room.

The front lobby was under construction so there were two fold out tables in a hallway but no signage to say what it was. When I asked where the front desk was the person said “I am the front desk”. Construction closed down the pool area. I booked this hotel for the pool and there was no warning prior to arrival that the pool was closed. My room was also right over the construction so as I was trying to relax in my room and read a book(because I couldn’t sit at the pool and do that) all I heard was vibrating noise. Management was supposed to call (which they did when I was out of my room) but when I said they could text or call my cell I never heard from them. Just not a good experience from beginning to end. I will be back in this area many times in the next few year but will not stay at this Hilton.

Proximity to USC campus. Construction, customer service was bad. Valet was bad. No coffee refill in the a.m. at restaurant.

We were terribly disappointed in several things. First of all, it would have been Nice to know that there was no lobby (renovations)! You checked in in the hallway. The second thing was that the pool closed for renovations too! No signage anywhere, like pardon us while we renovate.... Nothing! It was an anniversary stay! I am disappointed that Expedia didn't notify me either! I will writing a letter to the general manager asking for a resolution to our disappointment. I always booked through Expedia. I am second guessing myself as to why I should continue to be loyal. The problem is, I'm just one person and this will most likely be ignored. But, word of mouth does carry weight... 🤔

Friendly staff over all good Construction and parking

The bed covers were dingy and highly stained. The bedding had mildew and other stains on the covers. I was bit by something in the bed. Advised manager and he did not seam to care. Just brushed my complaints off. Told me the bite on my arm was probably a mosquito and I strongly feel it may have been a bedbug. WILL NEVER STAY AT THE HILTON COLUMBIA CENTER EVER AGAIN! They are doing construction so finding the way into the building from the self pay parking garage was a little tricky but staff was helpful. Perhaps a little signage if you’re parking and walking in could be helpful. Parking to the front entrance

Didn’t know it was undergoing renovations. New valet fee is a lot more expensive.

Nice, clean. Great location. Paying an additional price for parking.
