MainStay Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

The room was semi clean. The sheets on the bed was clean the air-conditioning worked. The staff was nice. The parking was OK. The amenities in the room like the refrigerator was very old and outdated. The utensils in the room was one fork and one spoon we didn’t have enough towels so we went downstairs to the desk and they told us to bring down the used ones and they would exchange them. The ice machines in the whole building did not work. The pool was closed indefinitely. They advertised breakfast in the morning there was no breakfast for the two days we stayed there. There was no ice and the TV was not connected so you couldn’t watch TV. This hotel is not a good place to stay. when you advertise breakfast and a pool both of those should be available to your customers. Neither one was available for the whole two days we stayed there. There was a sign on the desk that said the pool was closed indefinitely. I asked why was it closed? She said it needed to be inspected when we came down for breakfast in the morning there was a sign that was on a roped off area of the eating area that says there was no food being served today. The signs remained there the whole two days we stay there. all the amenities in the room needs to be updated and the ice machines need to be fixed we had to go to Walmart to buy food for breakfast and a bag of ice to last us for the two days we were there. We were very disappointed with the quality of this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here during my son's graduation from AIT and came in late that night for an early morning ceremony. Our bedding was not clean but didn't realize until the next day. The breakfast area was unkept and food was empty. I had to locate a staff member that was on their phone in the Kitchen prep area. The pool was absolutely disgusting, cloudy and green. I will say that the manager was kind and tried to rectify by having our room cleaned however, the staff came in, took the bedding and left a spray bottle on the bed. The manager then moved us to another room. Unless something changes, I'd say to find another place to stay.

This place is not worth the money. Very bad smell in the room. Water leaking in the floor near the bathroom. No towels, no shampoo. Breakfast was not good, barely nothing to eat, even no coffee. Don’t recommend this place.

Location to ft benning Pool out of service all three days of our stay. Told that coffee pot didn't work, so no coffee all three days, the person in charge of continental breakfast, didn't want to be there. And the quality of food showed it. The room we had was musty smelling and don't believe it has been cleaned in a long time. The ice machine didn't work. If not for location, we would have canceled our stay, but after driving all the way from northwest Minnesota, we didn't have the ambition to look for another place to stay, all the way to your hotel we were anticipating a good relaxing swim at the end of the day. But that never happened. We will be leaving a poor rating on booking.com as well. I don't know what happened to this place, but it is obvious that the owner is only into it for cash return. And I'm pretty sure that any profit this place made in the past is gone and the doors will close for good.

The free breakfast left a lot to be desired too. But there was a kitchenette, and laundry services available a full-size fridge. So really man for the price it was great

Location only. Minutes from fort Benning. Very dirty. Staff unresponsive. I had to go and buy Lysol to spray everything. Grime on furniture. Tub had hair in it and also dripping. Dirty walls and doors. I had to wipe down everything. Shower curtain moldy.

Nothing really It was too far from the airport. The elevator was dirty. The rooms didn’t get cleaned while we was there. We were gone long enough for the rooms to get cleaned. There was barely no staff. We had to ask for more trash bags and they only gave us two. The trash kept piling up and no one came to take trash we had to bring it to the front desk so the front desk worker can take it out. We ran out of toilet paper. On a lighter note the beds were comfy. Also the ac didn’t really cool the room down. I don’t like to give bad reviews but I think the place needs to a bit more accommodating. They did have breakfast and that wasn’t to bad. My son also like the swimming pool.

The bed is very comfortable and room is spacious They left forks in the sink and no bags in the trash can paper was on the floor the lady at the front desk had the room reclean which was good. No one s&owed up to do breakfast so people were waiting but the gentleman from the front desk was doing both which was awesome of him until help came. I just wanted coffee

Hot water. Clean AC filter. Good waffles. Lots of pillows. Bathroom door didn't lock. Pool was greenish. Mold in the shower.

The location from the base was great The room was not clean. There was left over food from the guest before us. The TV was awful, the color was off it seemed like the bulbs were going out. I had to ask for towels. It was extremely loud and there were roaches.
