Sleep Inn & Suites Columbus near Fort Benning

The closeness to where I needed to be. No breakfast and the pool was down. The guy was rude to someone in my group.

The staff were very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the facility was clean. Our rooms bathroom faucet was running the whole time we were there. The coffee pots downstairs were out of order the day after we got there. The lounging by the pool was all broken and torn and out tv did not work.

The men’s public restroom was out of order for a day, in the women’s restroom, one stall was out of order, one stall (the handicapped one) didn’t even have a door on it! People were told there was no extra washcloths to be given. We overheard the conversation. I would never recommend or stay at a Sleep Inn again. It is not a Choice Hotel. I did try to find another hotel to stay, but due to the activity going on that week, they were all booked. We were there for our grandson graduating boot camp for the US Army. This hotel needs a lot of work to make it a Choice Hotel again.

I like the location for my needs. The hotel service and the poor cleanliness. They limited our supply of towels.

The pool was shut down because it didn’t pass inspection and their was no coffee for 2 days because the coffee pot was broken and their coffee pot in my room did not work

Room was dirty, very gross. I had to go to the closest Walmart for Lysol and Clorox wipes to clean the room. Food droppings on the floor, remnants of vomit/food in bathroom. Pool was closed/out of order, coffee machines out of order, ice machine out of order. Black mold in the bathroom. Would not recommend.

Maybe the bed but that's about it. Had paid for 2 queen rooms had the second person get checked into one room cause they got there before I could so they did 1 room to start. Then when one of them wanted to check into the other room they gave them the key, they get into the room it's dirty beds not made trash still in the room. So they go tell the front desk she says the people didn't check out and they already sent housekeeping home for the day so no one can clean it! Said if we wanted to go somewhere else I would get refunded or she could put me in a King suite with 1 King bed and a pull out couch and then they would figure out the difference and I would get refunded whatever the difference would be. Said that was fine we were going to do that then I get a call from a person in my party that said never mind they just moved someone to a different room and gave me what I had originally booked. My guess is you didn't want to pay for a refund. I already paid everything was paid in full not understanding how you are going to tell someone that! Or send your housekeeping home because no one checked out?! Like there's no way you didn't know that prior to my party arriving! Then I hear you tried to do the same thing to another guest during my stay! Like stop double booking the rooms or whatever you are doing! You need a better system because that is ridiculous! I'm glad they arrived before I did because I would have been pissed! I will never stay in a Sleep Inn if that's how you guys do things! I've never stayed in a place that's done that before just crazy to me.

Was in a good location Curtains had mold, room smelled moldy, bathtub was dirty, headboard had handprints all over it, pool was closed, coffee pot didn’t work, breakfast was nasty.

The room was clean, but when I first arrived I stood at the front for a long time waiting because the night check in lady was in the back talking. I saw the guy she was talking to look at me but he never got her attention , I even said hello a couple of times and he just looked at me and kept talking to the lady. Plus the first floor smelled like weed I guess one of the guess was smoking outside. It was okay stay, you get what you pay for.

The front door entrance not opening good

Great sleep, super comfortable beds. Breakfast can definitely be better.

The room was filthy, dirty washcloth under sink, bathroom dirty with dirty washcloth and the sink wasn't clean. Never stay there again. Complained they did a deep clean and the room was still filthy. I checked out the next day and they didn't refund me for my days I didn't stay. Never again.
