Got to the motel Fri. afternoon and it has been closed since Dec. 2025 and it looks like you (booking.com) has billed my card for a closed motel.

The property had been closed for months and I was still able to book it. Had to find a place to stay last minute.

I can't say what I liked about the property because when I arrived it was deserted and there was a sign on the office door saying that due to a water emergency it had been closed since December 5, 2025 (I assume 2025; there was no year indicated and I was there on June 20, 2026). Nobody in the parking lot. Nobody in the office. Totally abandoned in all respects except for the signs on the office door (a second was from local government about tall weeds). It could have been open, not 9 p.m. and raining with what I thought was a reservation but was not.

This motel has been closed since December 2025. Booking.com made this reservation long after the motel was closed. Booking.com also charged me for the reservation. I will not use Booking.com again.

This hotel is *exceptional* for the price! Really, I was prepared for a lot worse based on past experiences booking hotels at this price point. It is way better than that. I literally am looking forward to staying here again. The only thing I’ll say is that my bed was quite firm. I happened to not mind this, but others might.

Such a stark contrast from one work week to the next. The people at the front desk were all very nice and friendly though.

I thought there would be a continental breakfast. But there wasnt so that was a bit disappointing. However, they had these little bags to go with some snacks in them. They dont have after-hour check-in so you'll have to check-in on time to get access.
