Do not stay at this Red Roof Inn. Worst hotel I have ever booked. I checked out after 20mins. The pictures are very deceiving!

Guy at the front was efficient and quick as well as polite. Property was undergoing some kind of repair and had hardware in the lobby.. room's toilet paper holder was on the sink, leaving a hole in the wall. Bed and AC worked great though.

Staff were nice. Security did remove people from dumpsters outside. Saw security several times which made us feel more safe. They were very kind. Room was very nice. Beds very comfortable.............. Location. Site on internet says on fairgrounds. Walking distance to Ohio state fair. That is a lie. Had to drive 15 minutes to get to fair. This site is not on fairgrounds like it says. Very disappointed:( Wanted to take a bath but no plug for drain so had to take a shower instead. When we got there after concert at fair there were people outside going through the trash.

The staff was rude the rooms smell awful
-
It was pet friendly There was no internet or cable the two nights we were there. One corner of the room had a sour smell. The bathroom could have had better cleaning
-
I didn't like that I had to wait four days for my deposit to be returned to my debit card.
-
The price and location to the activities. Mold in bathroom, hole in bathroom wall, bathroom not clean and bathroom door was damaged & toilet seat not attached. Room floor was slimy dirty and smelled musty.
-
The bedroom is spacious. The stairs & the bathroom.
-
Nothing There was bed bugs crackheads everywhere
-
The location was good. The bathroom was gross. There were cigarette burns on the counters, hair in the tub, the floor was dirty, shower curtain was dingy. The property was surrounded by drug users outside in the parking lot.

Bad

Toilet and shower both broken. Had to manually open the back of the toilet to flush it. The shower I had to manually hold up the switch for it to go from bath to shower. The shower curtain rod was being held in place by a pen being wedged between the wall and the rod to try to hold it up straight. The area was very back alley with people hanging out at the back of the gas station at the end of the parking lot all times of night and day. The free breakfast is only on weekends and there was not hot food. You had cereal and I saw no milk. The juice machine was broken as well. So you basically had your choice of dry cereal or a small package of donuts or packaged muffins. I also had a issue with checking in where they charged me for my room and they I had to wait 4 hours to get into my room after being charged. They claimed it was Hotels.com fault and then tried to blame my bank in which finally I was able to get in by second charging my account and having to wait for the first charge to finally be denied by this hotel to get it back. This hotel was one of the cheapest options so I understand its not going to be great but be prepared for what you pay for.

Cleanliness,

We were there just for the night so I wasn't needing or expecting much. We didn't get much. I don't understand why hotels don't take care of their properties but this place was not impressive.

The drinks and dog food froze in the fridge overnight. The shower rod droops so the curtain doesn’t stay closed. Our keys worked in the evening but not the next morning. We had to turn on the electric connection cord to turn on the AC. Just happened to figure that out. A $100 refundable deposit was required!!! The breakfast was very skimpy. The juice drink machine was out of order. My guess is it had been that way for a while.

The clerk was nice Everything was bad. There were people hanging bout side and it looked like they were dealing. The bathroom was horrible. The tv didn’t have a good selection and o couldn’t login to an of my app because the tv was old. One of the beds had a blood stain on it. When I walked in the room there was a rag or the bed.

I did not like that there’s no elevator.
