Baymont by Wyndham Coon Rapids

Room was not cleaned well -dust everywhere, mold/stains in bathroom, clock and phone stacked on top of each other, remote for tv look like it was just thrown behind it and left where it landed. The room smelled VERY STRONGLY OF SMOKE- Even though the doors all say no smoking. Transient people everywhere in parking lot, at side doors with side doors propped open by rocks, someone storing there very used bicylce inside stairwell by side door- got feeling these people were living there. Pool and elevator not functioning. Breakfast was very questionable. Ended up not staying here after first night check in and only stayed because checked in very late in the evening (midnight). Front desk charged me for my stay and said my expedia purchase didnt go through even though I showed charges and receipts!- Wouldnt accept that or try to problem solve just got defensive and said nothing can do. Refer back to the manager who is never around/available- still waiting for call back and my refund. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Elevator broken, pool in repairs, exit door blocked open, no protein items at breakfast, limit on waffles-- only one and ask the attendant to make it

The room wasn't very clean. The linens looked not changed. There weren't any towels in the bathroom. When we got there we had to plug everything in and hope it was going to work. The elevator was not working. The carpet felt very dirty on your feet.

The pool was out of service as was the elevator, the rooms were disgusting with used diabetic sharps on the floor, I nearly stepped on. Breakfast was nothing, 1 waffle limit, which i did not want due to the filthiness of the motel. The furniture was screwed together where drawers didnt work, microwave, and hair dryer did not work. Large hole in wall, windows broken,hallways smelled like pet urine, no wash cloths given. I stressed my concerns and the front desk employee was not the least bit interested. The smell of Marijuana was ridiculous as it seemed in my room.

Elevator was broke. And normally stairs wouldn’t bother me. However, walking past all extended stay rooms, Wreaked of pot!!!!!

The heater smelled, the furniture was in poor condition, the linens need replacing. The first room had a toilet that wasn’t functioning. The second room I was in had a tub I wouldn’t use There was garbage left outside the rooms. Not a good place to stay. Sorry I did

If I am just commenting on the property in which we stayed I would have to say, staff is questionable! We believe they live there, children helping their parents clean the room, trash in the hallway our entire visit (2 days) only the lights and TV worked in our room, the continental breakfast was a joke and the staff was walking around eating it. This place was such a joke, there aren’t enough words to describe it.

Check in clerk was not very friendly and didn't even tell us the elevator was out. Room was okay clean, but the refrigerator was turned off and all the defrost water was in the freezer tray. When i pulled it out, it spilled all over because it was so full. Someone should have emptied it before assigning the room to a new guest. Also, the microwave had no turn table in it and was unplugged. The cord was very short and the grounding pin was pulled out. We reported it to the front desk and all they did was bring a lamp that had a place to plug into and plugged the microwave into that like an extension cord. They never did anything about there not being a turntable. Additionally, the side entry door was blocked open with a rock so anyone could come in at any time. And the employees stand outside that door and smoke so it blows into the building. Smelled like someone was smoking inside.

There were little things but those things didn't bother me. I know it's not 5 star hotel but I expected what was listed on the site. It was located close to a target and walmart, so that was nice and convenient. Overall, will not recommend. The hotel is older and needs a lot of updating. Needs more for what you're paying for.

Staff smokes cigarettes in the “hotel”, gave me 2 pre occupied rooms, one with people on it. The 3rd room I was given was dirty and filled with cigarette smoke. I was advised there would’ve no refund before I could finish my sentence. No better accommod

Free breakfast was bagels, cereal, apple, waffles the juice machine out of order.

One of the rooms was missing pillow cases. After 3 hours I finally went and got them myself and put them on. I also asked for 3 clean towels since neither of my rooms were cleaned. I was told to bring my dirty ones to them so I did. I waited a few hours and asked again. They told me they would bring them to the room. I was in the room all night and never got towels. I understand the ICE crap going one but your customers still need to be treated with requests. The pool was not operable because not enough staff.

The room was clean. The only thing that was wrong was the TV wasn't working but when we brought it up with the staff they fixed it right away. Everyone was very friendly and helpful with everything.

I did not like anything about this hotel it was outdated, dirty, there was no breakfast (when it said breakfast), no pool or hot tub, the elevator was broken, and the staff was rude, and the room was crap.

The first room we were given, there was no heat. We turned the heater up to 90 and it just blew cold air. There was only 1 threadbare blanket and 2 sheets on the bed (in December). The one bed was broken, and there was no shampoo or conditioner for the shower. There was a brown substance smeared all over the window. We were given a different room due to no heat in the first. The second room was so hot that we had to open the window at 3:00 AM to cool down. There were minimal blankets in this room as well so the front desk gave us extra, though we didn’t need them with the heating situation. We were told upon check-in to expect a lovely breakfast in the morning. An apple and 3 miniature waffles to divide between 2 kids is not what I would call lovely. Luckily there was an IHOP down the street. Terrible experience - can’t even give 1 star.

The front desk ckerk was AMAZING. She did a great job at greeting us. The room smelled of bleach, which was comforting but it was only 60 degrees in there. In a room with no carpet - it was terrible. The lamp shade was broken. Phone was broken with most buttons missing, and the tv did not work. Upon further digging, that clean smell was false as the furniture proved to be awfully dirty..
