Beautiful hotel. Great buffet breakfast. Excellent location near Tivoli Gardens and Stroget. Also close to Avis rental car. Friendly staff. Near many excellent restaurants. I would stay here again mainly due to its great location. Clean room. The elevator worked part of the time. Buffet breakfast was expensive. Staff didn't know where Avis Rental Car was located, even though it's about two blocks from the hotel. Small room and bathroom.

Charming, close to attractions, staff were very lovely, clean rooms, nice lobby bar. No AC and windows barely open. Very small room, even for European standards, a lot of noise from street, parking lot, and neighboring hotels and restaurants.

Nice hotel, friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast

Location was great! Basement room had stairs so a bit difficult to move the luggage.

The hotel has a clean and stylish design, and the staff at the lobby were very friendly and helpful. There is a live bar directly across from the hotel, and the music was extremely loud from the afternoon until late at night, making it difficult to relax or get proper rest. The lobby staff kindly provided earplugs when I asked, but unfortunately, they could not block out the low-frequency bass from the DJ’s subwoofers. Also, on the morning of my check-out, a housekeeping staff member knocked on my door to confirm whether I was actually checking out that day. This was the first time I had ever experienced something like this during my travels, and I found it quite unusual and uncomfortable.

The breakfast and location were excellent. I liked the architecture of the hotel as well - originally a bath house. I would recommend a lamp or overhead lighting for the writing table. The Ascot is a lovely hotel There was loud music from across the street - something the hotel cannot control.

Expensive breakfast.

Location and room and hotel decor Rooms are very small
-
The rooms we got were great, beds were comfortable, enough space, good size shower. We liked the lobby and the location was really good - near Tivoli gardens. I would prefered that the shower/toilet door was more dark.

The early morning noise from the yard moving carts

Nothing
-
Ceramic tiles sharp edges on the floor between bathroom and koridor. I cut my big toe.
-
Beautiful old hotel No AC or fan in our room.
-
They only thing that I don’t like is that the rooms with AC are too narrow and small, the bathroom as well, but the rooms with no AC are big spacious.

THe breakfast was very nice, there was a good selection of items to eat and drink. The location was fine easy to walk to most items in the city these are documented with photos! Dirty: -1. The room was NEVER corretly cleaned, they cam and changed the towels. The floor and funrniture was dirty and item on the floor. -2. Thesince we had baggage, AND how did hanicap people since only stepsbreakfaqst area table were dirty with left over over from the day before, we were there once open, so it was from day before Confusion: -3. When we searched for the hotel gps did not find it, and once we arrived we then found it. As per the photo there are four hotels at the same place with different names and all of them crossing back and forth. -4. When we eantered with backage is was no ramp, which surprise us... How do handicap people enter? Noise: -5. Directly in fron of this 4 hotel confusion is an outdoor conrect and bar thus music is played loud until early morning. Air Flow: -6. We stayed in the upstairs. IT was way too hot about 6 degreee hotter than outside and there was absolute no air flow. Sometime it smelled from air sitting Black TV: -7. The TV never worked correctly, it cam on then stopped... during the World Cup .. I asked and nothing was done .. I complained nothing was done.. We have 7 chnnels in either Danish or English and half never worked correctly since the TV kept losing it's connection. This ia a 4 star hotel, from which planet.. also 4 star hotels don't they have a pool or a functioning tv.. muchless cable tv?? If I did not speak english or danish??

We loved that our room looked out to the street and had a balcony - nice view. The downside of the room location was the beer garden across the street. It is a great and free music venue as long as you like the music - they did stop playing around 10:00 so it wasn't a big issue as we were out for dinner during most of the show. Two nights of our four night stay it was DJs with techno music - very annoying to us. The third night was a fabulous female songwriter, so we enjoyed hearing her from the room. If you are concerned, just a request a room not in the front of the hotel.

Great location for visiting the city or the gardens. Love the history and age of the property. Some noise but quieted down before 10pm. Needs a second entrance with A ramp.

Only the location was good. Everything else was far from 4-star level -- see detailed comments below. We arrived at 2:00 pm; our reservation was checked, but we were quickly told "the room is not available; rooms are normally ready at 3:00 pm; please have a seat and we'll call you when it's ready." I tried to insist that we had just had a very long flight, so please get us a room quickly; it didn't help. My wife fell asleep on the couch. At 2:50 pm, I went again, still not ready. At 3:00 pm, by magic "room is ready" we went up, and it was clear it had been ready for some time; they just don't want to give rooms earlier than 3 pm. After a nap, I realized that the name on the room/phone was not mine, and indeed I had noticed a discrepancy between the room that was mentioned to me initially and the one that I was given. I told them, but they waived the issue: "glitch in the phone system" they said. Next day, we left at 9:00 am and put the "Please clean my room" sign. We came back at 2:00 pm, still not done. The maid who was somewhere on the same floor said "sorry, we do the rooms that are being vacated first". We asked her to come and clean ours quickly; she came and replaced the towel, didn't even touch the bed, and said "do you need anything else?" When we inquired aobut the bed, vacuum, etc., she said "we don't do that when people are staying over, only when the room is being prepared for new customers"... In the meantime, the hotel doesn't miss an opportunity to try to sell you "extra services" including tourist tickets and packages. A very bad service overall for a higly priced "4-star hotel".

Location, quiet Small elevator

The beds and linen were excellent. Coffee in the room very much appreciated. Very good breakfast. Location near restaurants, train station and grocery store was convenient. Secure bike storage also. There is a slim selection of nonalcoholic beer.
