Henrik's Hotel

Interior, design & location. Comfortable bed and nice quality furniture. At check in I was told I was ‘upgraded’ and my room would be with the neighbouring hotel separate from Henriks Hotel. When I walked in to my room it was dated and old looking, not the room I had paid for. I went back to counter and asked to stay with Henriks hotel as per my booking. I was told they didn’t have 2 consecutive nights available in 1 room and would have to have a night in one room then check out and another night in a different room. I had to check out and not have a room available until later in the day. This was such a negative experience.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, the room was an absolute delight with a beautiful attention to detail. There isn’t anything I could possibly complain about the stay at Henriks Hotel. It can be quite loud in the evening due to being so central in the city, however with the windows shut it was barely noticeable and definitely didn’t take away from the positives of this hotel.

Very beautiful rooms, clearly recently refurbished. Comfortable beds. Great location. Our room was very small. You had to slide past the tv to get to the other side of the bed. The wardrobe door wouldn’t open fully to enable easy access to the drawer within. So generally it felt cramped. If this was the superior room I am scared to think what a regular room looked like. The gym was also small and in the basement.

The location of the hotel was perfect...close to the central train station, the metro and to buses. There were several good restaurants within 100 to 200 metres or so. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with many choices. Our room overlooked a courtyard so it was lovely and quiet. It was great having air conditioning in the room. The bedroom was a little bit cluttered with too many pillows and large lamps on the bedside tables which we had no use for as there were small reading lights.

Good Location - nicely ( and newly) decorated comfortable room with very high quality fittings. Room cramped and not enough room to open out two suitcases!

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Very comfortable and nice bed. The bathroom is beautiful, and its amenities are great. The staff who took care of us was very helpful. The hotel is basically 'work in progress'. The ground floor rooms are disatrous surrounded by on-going works by the time we stayed in July. Also bunch of work was being done at the lobby during the stay. Curtains seemed not to be ironed. The choice of sheer curtains in the bathroom take away the sense of privacy. I asked for a room change and got to move on the 5th floor, but this time there was a constant noise from the piping system from the ceiling 24/7.

Great location and excellent breakfast! Room and bathroom were both tiny. We only had carry on bags and really no where to put them. Flight delays made it so we could only stay 2 out of our 3 day reservation. Even though I kept staff informed about our delays, no adjustments were offered, not even for the breakfast we could not attend. I dropped an earring on the floor and noticed how filthy it was under the bed.

Great boutique feel. Staff great, Brian on reception particularly helpful. Aircon could have gone cooler, minimum set to 19 degrees.

Beautiful hotel and rooms. Fabulous breakfast. The location. It’s opposite a night club. Was heavy metal night out first night and it’s loud. I would have liked to have known this and I’d have requested a room at the back.

Beautiful new hotel. Excellent breakfast. Very well located near the busy part of town. Our room was peacefully quiet. Space limited around the bed.

I liked the room at Henrik's. Good design, cozy. They moved us to one of their sister hotels with no notice for the first night as they had overbooked Henrik's. No explanation in arrival, no apology. We had booked Henrik's because we liked the hotel aesthetic, and we were in Copenhagen only for two nights. So it ruined our arrival, and the next day, as we had to move rooms the next day ( I did not want to stay in the sister hotel, which was completely different from the room I had booked at Henrik's). The room at Henrik's was comfy and nice. They gave us breakfast on the house for both days, which we only used the next day as we had to wait for the room to be ready to move into it. It was a very disappointing experience, considering we had only one weekend. Staff was apologetic the next day, but again, poor explanations, no real sense of ownership of their mistake, and tried to brush it off by saying they had given us a larger room instead ( which I didn't care about, as it was a different style, colder, and dingier room).

Absolutely everything about this place was perfect

Property decor and cleanliness to the highest standard. Room very small and therefore a little stuffy and hot.

Very courteous staff, central location, excellent breakfast. It was hard to turn on the lights in the room.
