The location is very good, just steps from the train and the town hall. They allowed us to check in early and they store our luggage free of charge if we stay there. Something I didn't like was the view we had of the interior, but they were celebrating Gay Pride and the party was right across the street and we had a lot of fun. Everyone was very polite and we felt safe. The breakfast isn't very varied but it's decent. We went outside for a moment and the bedroom door closed by itself, but when we got back it was properly closed; nothing was lost.

Excellent location, many reviews mention the hotel is outdated whereas in reality it is just an old, historic building and I thought full of character. Being so close to the station, metro and main shopping thoroughfare makes this a first class location along with extremely friendly and helpful staff. We did upgrade to a balcony room with city square and complete city views, absolutely first class and highly recommended. There’s a bit of homelessness outside the hotel, but no worse than other places in the city.

Bathroom and shower was great, clean and lovely hot shower. Located at the rear of the site was perfect for us. It is also situated close to train station which worked well for us travelling in and back to Gothenburg. Thank you for being able to accommodate our request. No issue with our short overnight stay.
