Old hotel, but very well maintained staff was superb. I highly recommend it. The swimming pool was small but very refreshing.

The breakfast selection was actually good. The furniture in the room could use an updating. Parking available but it was tight fitting. Had cute outdoor covered sitting area. Bed was comfortable. Our room unfortunately was against the busy road so traffic was heavy in early evening hours. Pool and hot tub available. Close walking distance to beaches, food and shops.

Free parking and convenient disabled parking.

The property location is great. 1.3 mile walk to the Hotel Del and the beach. Less than that to great restaurants and some shopping. Also very short .3 mile walk to the pier to take the ferry to San Diego and also to walk, shop, dine and watch the boats in the water and see the beautiful skyline of San Diego. The rooms are outdated but adequate and comfortable. The breakfast is good and the breakfast room is clean. Staff at the hotel are terrific and very responsive. Parking is underground, ample and safe. There is an elevator for the 3 floors to access rooms. The courtyard in the center of the hotel is very nice with umbrellas and comfortable furniture to lounge. I recommend this property.

The staff was fantastic and the rooms and overall facility was clean. Unfortunately we were on the side of the building that was right on 3rd avenue. Which meant, every day at 5am we were woken up by the traffic. The personal driving to the base for that morning shift is very fond of motorcycles, muscle cars and modifying their vehicles to sound louder than stock, combined with their poor driving skills this made for a VERY noisey 5am. I would suggest that the property owner invest in some sound proof windows on that side of the building, or if you decide to stay here, ask for a room on the north east side of the property. Unless a 5am wake up call is what you are looking for.

I came in for the weekend for a quick trip to visit my family on the island. We paid over $1000 for two nights. The breakfast is about as low quality breakfast as you could probably serve in a franchise branded hotel. Keep your expectations very low, but I guess it would be OK for satisfying kids without having to drag them to a restaurant… I don’t think that I would stay there again, I just didn’t find the value to meet the cost. But then again it is Coronado Island in August… everything is expensive.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our trip to San Diego. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, with a great selection and everything tasting fresh and delicious. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Price for short notice end of summer pretty good. Pool tiny and 3 feet deep. No help for beach goers. Make sure you're not near the ice machine. One staff member was sharp and kind. The breakfast had lots of items, but M-F closes at 9am. Parking is cramped. Our room smelled. TV worked only with up and down channel. But Coronado beach is glorious and the restaurants are good. The island is great, the hotel staff trained to be cheap.

Good luck finding a better deal in Coronado. Is this the Hotel Del Coronado or Glorietta Bay Inn? No, but the staff was great. From the front desk to the cleaning crew. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The rooms were fine. Only complaint I’d have that is very minor is the breakfast area is tiny so there isn’t much space to sit and eat. But that didn’t come close to ruining the trip. 5/5 would stay here again
