B&B Alverà

Staff was very friendly. The property was quiet and the rooms were very neat and perfect for a solo traveler. The room was cleaned every day and the breakfast was filling and very well thought out - it was set up for my room as soon as I was awake. I liked that it was a little bit removed from the city center for peace and quiet but it took me only 10 minutes to walk to the center of Cortina. I would definitely stay here again! There was construction across the street which was loud during the day if the windows were open, but that is not the property’s fault. I still enjoyed my stay and it didn’t really bother me since I was out hiking for most of the day.

Cleanliness. Efficiency. Good shower. Good privacy. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Access to balcony was a plus. Mod cons fine. Was arriving after 8pm and the instructions for self-check in were very clear and useful (WhatsApp videos). Single room (#9) was small and single bed was narrow (but not wholly unexpected). Room was overly warm due to bathroom heater (even with door closed) (September stay) and window needed to be open – which was an issue due to traffic immediately outside and building site opposite. Woke several times each night. Barely met the owners – so quite an anonymous stay.

It was very clean. The directions for check-in and checkout were excellent. They accommodated our late arrival very well.

Decent and very filling breakfast, plenty of variety. Host can open breakfast earlier if your day requires.

Everything, the location, the services and the breakfast were all great.

Breakfast wasn’t big but it was really good, a lot of choices. Really close to the 445 bus which goes to Dobbiaco and to the city centre. The pillows could have been softer.

It was very close to the downtown walking area—about 10 minute walk. The room was spotless! Cleaned daily. Tea kettle in the room was nice to have. Refrigerator downstairs to keep your food and drinks cold. The breakfast was ample with enough selection, although the same every day. Host was very responsive. Parking was tight and a little tricky to get out onto the road, but nothing unexpected for Italy.

Breakfast was basic but nice. Location was good 10 mins from the centre. Staff were nice although didn’t see them much. There is a communal fridge for guests to use which was helpful. No safe in the room for valuables etc.

B&B location is pretty close to the old city center, on the road to the Falzarego pass. The room was nice and clean with a nice balcony. One somewhat old bread roll at breakfast was a bit dissapointing. The owner avoids speaking to you as much as possible, seems somewhat weird. He leaves a very strong body odor behind, so you can tell he has been in the neighborhood of your room. Quite unpleasant at times.

Great location and view. Cosy, old fashioned style. Kind host (speaks Italian, no german or english). Breakfast was ok. Fridge for everyone to use.

The room was very comfortable with a great view. The breakfasts were amazing. It was walkable to the gondola to ski. I would stay again!

It was clean, we can to ski, not to enjoy boutique hotel, breakfast was simple but OK and satisfactory. It was good vale for money. Location next to the road, outside appearance, small parking, and outdated halls, i have to say I was not impressed, but then after all I started liking it. The owner seems to develop bit by bit and could see that some parts were new!
