I liked cotton bedding and feather quilt and slept well but my husband complained that the bed was short. I absolutely loved the quietness of the area: the location of the apartment where we stayed was outside of the busy area and it was dead quiet throughout our stay. Another plus was that the climbing gym was right across the bridge - I went only once but enjoyed it immensely. Breakfast was adequate and tasty, and I really liked everyone I interacted with. Please note that I stayed in a 2-bedroom/2-bathroom apartment with old/dated furniture in a separate building (not in the main hotel building) with my family and this is its review. Now, this was a weird apartment we stayed at: there was a dishwasher but no dishwashing liquid, washing machine but no laundry liquid or even drying rack (I had to call the reception to get the drying rack), renovated stove in kitchen but no tea kettle or a microwave, tiny cups but no mugs or cups to drink water from (we used wine glasses to drink water from). Shower in one bathroom had a malfunctioning head that we called and got fixed. Water faucet in the kitchen was inconvenient: it sprayed every time we opened it. There was empty car parking right in front of the apartment but we were told we couldn't park in it even though nobody else used it while we were there. The list goes on. We all had a feeling that this apartment was renovated haphazardly without paying much attention to the details and without thinking how to make guests' stay comfortable. For the price we paid - 600 USD per night - we felt that it was extremely overpriced. Thankfully I LOVED the bedding (cotton sheets and feather quilt were godsend) because if in addition to everything the bed was bad, my stay would have been terrible but the bed saved the day. Still, it was severely overpriced. Oh and if you want certain items for breakfast, they will charge you extra but we enjoyed the breakfast without those extra items. If I ever go back to Cortina, I will book early to avoid paying as much as we did. As for this apartment, I recommend someone from the stuff to spend there couple days to realize everything that needs to be fixed/added to the apartment. It's a good way to know what needs to be there in order to justify charging as much as we paid for it.

The room felt quite worn and in need of refurbishment. There was also a persistent drainage odor coming from the bathroom throughout our stay, which was unpleasant. Overall, I don't think the hotel offers good value for the price.

Staff was fantastic. We were up and out before breakfast but the staff was happy to uncork a bottle of wine we brought back as they were closing out the kitchen. Wonderful experience with the front of house staff. They even called us after departure for a forgotten item.

The breakfast was exactly the same every day which was not a lot of variety and got very tired of it quickly. Our bathroom unfortunately had a broke light switch which we told the staff about and was never addressed - you have to click 10-15 times before the light would turn on which was very inconvenient middle of the night. The belcony was nice but people are smoking all the time and we couldn’t use it without inhaling g smoke. The beds were also very hard and uncomfortable. We paid for the baby crib on booking.com and was asked to pay again right after booking it and then again after we left. Overall it was ok experience but not as we had hoped for sadly

The Barisetti Hotel was the perfect place to stay for our adventure in the Dolomites. For starters, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, providing tips for our hikes. The amenities were fantastic—we especially enjoyed the sauna after a rainy, cold day. And the breakfast that is included was a hearty and delicious way to start each morning. The hotel is also ideally located—a short walk from the main street but far enough from the hustle and bustle that it was always very quiet at night. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend the Barisetti to others! Not a negative but if you’re leaving early in the morning, be sure to check out with the staff the night before so that they can handle all final billing.

a lovely little hotel that is about a 10 minute walk to the center of Cortina. it’s right near the Olympic ice rink and bobsled track. we had the apartment for our family of 4 and it was nice to have the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. the comforters on the beds were great. Breakfasts were very nice with a lot of options. tight space in the bedrooms but I guess this is to be expected.

Alice is extremely friendly, helpful and sweet. She helped us a lot while we were there. She gave us good suggestions and tried everything to help us find the best way to get to Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Cinque torri. Alice, we made it to the Cinque torri. Thank you so much!

Everything was outstanding!

Location and friendliness of staff The smell of the room was disgusting. I informed the staff early in the stay and they could not do anything about it saying it was coming from the pipes. I also had many episodes of noise- dripping coming from the ceiling. I thought the ceiling was going to fall on me in the middle of the night.

Room is very clean. Dinners are excellent. Stuff are very friendly.

There’s very loud construction going on directly outside the hotel. The field that is pictured in the listing with chairs and such is currently under construction and not available for use either which is a bit disappointing. There also isn’t any “spa” like listed and you have to pay an additional fee to access the sauna

We had a wonderful stay. All the staff members are great. Alice was the best. Very accommodating and great with things to do. We would stay there again. Perfect location for being close to hiking trails. Thank you, Sylvia & Daryl

The rooms my brother and I stayed in had exposed beams with very low clearance. Needless to say, bumping our heads wasn't uncommon.

Liked the way coffee was made individually to order. Nice breakfast buffet. View from our room. The half glass in the shower was not sufficient to keep water in the tub and off floor. There should be a bar to assist in stepping out of tub and onto floor. There was a random chair that partially blocked access to the bathroom.

Good location and comfortable Got tired after eating same items in breakfast for 3 days

The hotel staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The food at the restaurant was delicious and freshly prepared. Although the selection wasn’t very large, it was more than enough for us, and everything we tried was excellent. We also had dinner there once, and it was just as good — tasty, beautifully presented, reasonably priced, and served in a pleasant, cozy atmosphere. Overall, we had a great week at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cortina d’Ampezzo. /
