On the beach. Need general maintenance in the units.

The location is the best, not only the beach is just near the bar but you will have very good restaurants close to the hotel. They include the breakfast and the prices for the bar are very good. The rooms are being renovated and are very confortable.

Nothing. This hotel was a disappointment. What is shown online is different from what is in reality. The reviews are mostly positive, which is definitely deceiving. Probably those people **do** know what the standard of a hotel is. This place **does not** even **compare** to a motel. There is no buffet breakfast. Within walking distance from there, we stayed in another hotel for the same price, which was amazing.

As always service was excellent. This is our 3rd time staying at Marbelo. The staff are always on point and very helpful. Everything was excellent

Location was ok Drainage after rain needs a lot of improvement . Bathroom backed up. Water from rain came into room somewhere in the bathroom. Beds were very firm and not comfortable.

Passed the hotel several times and finally decided to try. A polished used car; looks great until you start driving. The room advertised was not the room given. I should have complained, but I'm use to this in Colombia, and I didn't need a kitchenette. Room was above hotel kitchen so noise from kitchen was heard before, during, and after meals. TV had poor reception and few channels. Told they only have local channels. During the night the bathroom began to smell of urine from drain. Given a room change. Middle of the week and hotel was dead, but I was given a room with no exterior window, except in bathroom. Poor TV reception, but surprise, it had cable. Room was next to one under construction. Again, I should have complained. Pool is cloudy and 4 1/2 feet deep. Too many vendors on the beach. Must be their local hangout. Too many jet skies coming to the beach with fumes looking for clients. Music from bar is loud. I can't imagine the weekend. Better choices up and down the beach for similar price and amenities.

Beach, pool and bar were great. Rooms were basic but good value for the location and had everything you needed but certainly weren't luxury. Internet worked well and nice poeple at the hotel. Not noisy at night and AC was good. Near everything you need, best to hire a car.
