The hosts were very welcoming and had great communication before arrival. Shortbread & bottled water were nice to have in the room. Breakfast was wonderful and could be customized to our food preferences. The bed was not as comfortable as we had hoped.

The room is exceptionally clean. The homemade shortbread and breakfast is a huge cherry on the top.

Absolutely beautiful location with very friendly, interested and helpful owner Room was small with twin beds that were a surprise. Most likely my fault but not ideal.

Amazing house and property and even better host! The breakfast was delicious and accommodating of my food allergies. It couldn't have been a better place to stay!

Friendly owner, beautiful location, good breakfast, lovely stay!

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and very flexible with our timings. They knew and had given prior notice that we would need to eat dinner in the village by a certain time otherwise there was a chance we wouldn't be able to have dinner - this was exceptionally helpful! The breakfast provided was very generous and delicious, particularly the sausages! N/A

Amazingly friendly welcome by John. Nothing is too much trouble. Even helped us get some washing done whilst walking the West Highland Way & dried our boots. Great vibe with other fellow walkers at Breakfast. Breakfast was incredible.

Thank you to John for a great stay! I had actually booked a camping pod in Tyndrum for the night but the campsite owner called me and was very upset that we might potentially arrive later than 8pm since we thought we would be driving from Edinburgh after work. I checked with John and he was world's apart, very helpful and friendly. For only £4 more than a camping pod (!) we got an ensuite bathroom and a fantastic full Scottish breakfast in the morning - best decision!

Beautiful location, excellent breakfast. We stayed in the self contained apartment and it was great. Very comfortable, and private. Jans home made shortcake was delicious and the home made tattie scones at breakfast were a highlight

If you’re looking for authentic warm Scottish hospitality, this is your place! John is the most welcoming and professional host with a keen eye for detail to ensure his guests are comfortable and cared for. Rooms are spic and span, cozy and comfortable beds, and a Scottish breakfast that is cooked to perfection. A picturesque location, it was well worth the short detour off the WHW to have a very restful night here!

John is the perfect host. Whenever I think the Scottish people can’t surprise me more with their kindness. I am overwhelmed again. When we arrived our luggage was already in our room. There were amazing homemade cookies in the room to have with tea/hot chocolate /coffee. He offered me ice for my injured feet. The beds are very comfortable. The place is beautiful and feels warm and welcoming. Breakfast is freshly cooked by John that encourages you to try as many options as you want. There is a variety of vegan options and the jams are homemade as well. We loved it.

Host John was lovely, breakfast was really good

Exceptional breakfast! John's porridge was delicious as were the homemade jams. Added bonus of seeing a red squirrel having their breakfast outside the window! In the room, loved the fact you got a mug for a drink and not a tiny cup! The homemade shortbread biscuits were delicious. John was a lovely host and extremely helpful. Only a pitstop stay on a drive upto Skye but well worth it!
