The staff was incrediably accommodating. I came to Peru with a 16 member medical team to volunteer in a rural part of Peru, and Rojas Inn was our meeting point. The staff was very helpful and met our special needs. The location felt safe and was at the center of lively part of Cusco. The surrounding community at be very loud at night.

The price was very cheap, and the breakfast was good with a variety of local fruits and juices. We traveled with a group of friends and family. Several of the rooms were over a street where there were multiple bars, so it was very loud at night, and they had difficulty sleeping due to the noise. Several of the rooms did not have heaters, and it got into the 40's overnight, so they were freezing. My daughter's bathroom smelled like sewage the entire time. Our safe did not work properly, and literally every time I wanted in, I had to get the front desk to come open it. One time the batteries had gone out, and they did not have any batteries to replace them with. Even after the batteries were replaced, the power kept shorting out. The safe was obviously defective. The lobby roof leaked during the rain and there were puddles of water everywhere including the sofa's and chairs. There were extra mattresses and bed frames piled everywhere in the lobby blocking off a huge section, so I am not sure if they were getting rid of them or just storing them in the lobby. It was like that during our entire stay. Even though our daughters were on our floor in a room about 20 feet away, the hallways were closed off, so to get to their room, we had to go down two flights of stairs, through the lobby and then back up two different flights of stairs.

The breakfast and how cute it was. The Hot water wasn’t always guaranteed.

Friendly staff very cute. Location near square It was hit and miss the hot water usually not that big of a deal. But a couple times came back from cold outings and really would have enjoyed a hot shower . Our room was very close to a bar that was loud all night. But I fall asleep easily. Not an issue for me.

Lovely big bed and great location … staff were really kind and let us our bags behind reception for a whole night before we stayed whilst we went on a tour. Told check in was 11am but in the end we had to wait in reception until nearly 1pm - they kept saying it would be ready in a few minutes. If they just said it won’t be ready until 1pm we would have gone for lunch and it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Can be a bit noisy due to the location.
