Casa Saphi and its staff and location were excellent! Kati and Anthony at the little café next-door where incredibly helpful kind the breakfast she cooked was delicious! They helped us book taxis to get where we needed to go and always greeted us with smiles. We took the family room upstairs with a big bathtub, which was really nice on the cold evenings. The beds were comfortable. They had a water heater & tea in our room and a space heater. There was even a communal kitchen available if we wanted to cook anything. We would highly recommend this place and their staff. They made us very comfortable and we enjoyed staying there.Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, the staff very accommodating

I property was great, it met my expectations, it was safe and clean and accommodating. The walls were a little thin so if there’s people in an adjacent room you might hear some shuffling around but no major disturbances at all.

Breakfast was eggs, bread, fruit, juice, tea/coffee. It was filling and convenient. It was 3 of us. The room was a full and a single. Super comfy beds. The jacuzzi room was way cuter than in the photos. It was really nice to have during the cold morning and nights. We alternated who got to use it. It is a 1 person sort of deal (2 if you're more than friends). Close to the main town square. Not up a terrible hill like other locations. Despite the festivities the room was quiet. Their doors are designed to block out noise. Showers were warm. The tv was funky - we gave up trying to use it.

Checkin went great. Location was near the centre square and many nice restaurants were nearby and local tourist attractions were within walking distance. Responsive communication during booking was great too. Walls were a little thin so if there’s activity in an adjacent room you can hear shuffling around, etc., also a short delay happened when getting my luggage that was being held but communication through WhatsApp helped.

The location, the staff, the value for the money, the beds were comfortable and the rooms very quiet. It was all great. I would stay here again no doubt. We took 3 rooms because we were a big group, and mine was smaller than the rest with the sink outside the room. That being said, the price is still fair considering everything else is great.

Exceptional staff, great communication, and very helpful and accommodating. My room was cozy and had everything I needed for a good rest. I appreciate the fridge and hot water kettle for longer stays. It was very quiet and a quick walk to restaurants and the main area. The guesthouse is shares a courtyard with longer term residents and feels homey. I’d would stay here again! There was a small window to the courtyard, for daylight but not a view. However, this meant that it was quiet and dark at night.

Quiet nice room. Good water pressure with hot water in the shower, good sized basin. Heater in the room, fridge and kettle with different teas on offer. Use of communal kitchen. Breakfast was good, however the bread on offer could have included some brown bread or sourdough. Extremely convenient location, we would not hesitate to stay there again. All in all very good value, friendly staff, would recommend to stay there. better bread on offer with the breakfast. Very complicated lock system.

Casa Saphi is located close to everything: the Plaza de Armes, shops, restaurants, etc. They also have a cafe on site that makes delicious pancakes. The included breakfast is the American breakfast (toast, fruit, eggs) that was also delicious. Our room was basic, but clean and came with a mini fridge. I also loved that there was a common kitchen for guests to use. The managers were available and responsive over whats app and allowed us to check in early, which was greatly appreciated. The staff were always kind and welcoming. We requested an early breakfast since we were leaving for a tour before the breakfast time of 7am. I reminded them twice, and they said that our breakfast would be labeled with our names in the common kitchen fridge the next morning. The following morning, we saw that there was a breakfast for another guest, but not ours. I texted them on whats app and they apologized and said that there must have been a misunderstanding, but that was it. The next day, I asked them if they could accommodate us in some way because we had to travel several hours before we reached a destination where we could purchase breakfast, plus the breakfast was included in our room rate. Management agreed to give us extra food for breakfast, which was appreciated. I'm not sure if they would have done this had I not asked. If you have an early tour, be sure to triple check with them to make sure that they remember to have your breakfast ready. To management-thank you for the extra food. I understand that people make mistakes. It really goes an extra mile in customer service if you would have offered the extra food or some other nice gesture rather than the guest having to ask.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. Room was comfortable and water was hot.

The bedroom was nice and cozy. There was a heater and extra blankets available. Very conveniently close to Plaza de armas and all the shops. Next to it there was a laundry mat to wash our clothes. Great location. Staff can prepare a to go breakfast if you have activities where you’ll be picked up at 4 am. The day I wanted to try breakfast with pancakes they were out. So I had to go and spend extra money at another place.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and informative to all our questions. We got here our first day in Cusco and we had planned to leave 2 days later, then come back again to spend more time in Cusco. Location was great, shops and restaurants were all around us to choose from. It was also walking distance to the Plaza del Armas, very quick walk down the street. For this trip we stayed in a queen sized bedroom. I will say the room was small, but we didn't spend all our time in our room, so it wasn't a big deal to us. But keep this in mind if you want more space to move around. Room was nicely decorated and clean. It was only me and my husband, so we were comfy. Room and bathroom were clean, there was a closet and they had complimentary tea in our room with a tea kettle. There was also a shared kitchen down the hall, if you wanted to use it. We had an early morning tour at 5am and we asked them the day before if we can get breakfast to go for the next day. And they were able to pack us a to go breakfast and they left it in the shared kitchen. Breakfast was a pan dulce, juice, and fruit. The day before check out, we didn't want to carry any extra luggage to Macchu Picchu, so we asked them if we can leave it there until we came back a few days later. And they were able to do that for us, which was super convenient! When we checked in a few days later, they had our luggage waiting for us in our room. I would definitely stay here again. Everything went well.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Saphi. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay. Breakfast was great and the location is perfect. It was a bit hot during the night but we opened the windows and that helped.

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

The only issue to me is the bed, it was not comfortable at all.

  • Engine customer Jun 2025

The shower hot water turns off after 3-5 minutes use. The jacuzzi bath tub did not work. Creaky noisy floors and steep stairwell as our room was at the top most.

Lovely rooms, very nice and accommodating staff, great location A little spendy

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

this a beautiful little B&B with a small cafe and the rooms in a separate old building next door with tonnes of character and tastefully renovated. What sets this place apart though are the staff - Katherine and Anthony are just genuinely nice people and really want to make sure you have the perfect stay.
