Only a couple flat blocks from the plaza, yet extremely quiet for restful sleep. Room has Cusco quaintness with an updated bathroom. Breakfast was great with freshly squeezed orange juice. Room was a bit cold, but room heater warmed the place up.

Fantastic location. Staff helpful. Breakfast insanely good. About 5 min walk to main square with all the restaurants etc. Very happy staying here Nothing

Friendly staff willing to assist. Location was a little hard to find and crowded street, but this is usual in Cusco Could have used a hot shower and table lamps working bedside

Good looking room and cleanliness. Staff are not helpful at all. My boyfriend wasn’t feeling great because of altitude and they wouldn’t help at all. I asked for assistance, and no information was provided. I had to contact a clinic myself and have somebody else como help. It is well known that altitude sickness is common in Cusco and that they weren’t able to provide any type of help is ridiculous. Careless and useless staff. Do not recommend.

Very clean and good location Bad communication, long wait at the door entrance, you cannot pay extra for early check -in and late check out. No breakfast for take away

I can honestly just speak for the room we stayed in and the b&b common areas, but all the rooms looked beautiful in pictures. Our room was spot clean and it was decorated beautifully. The location is 2 blocks away from the Plaza de Armas and 11 mins walking to Saqsaywaman (steep uphill tho) and there are many restaurants and plazas to visit. I felt terrible because I accidentally ruined their sheets and had to pay for it, so be careful because your makeup and lotions will explode due to the altitude. I liked everything. The room is a little cold, so it will take time to warm up and the toilet seat was loose

Exceptional value, amazing bedding with down comforter and pillows( well beyond the price paid), friendly staff, great breakfast. Allowed us to store luggage while we went to Machu Picchu- a huge bonus. Location was perfect, close to restaurants and many attractions. I will recommend to anyone I know who visits Cusco. Nothing.

Owner was very caring. He woke up very early and got us a taxi and also packed our breakfast to go Did not have Body wash in bathroom

The location could not be better. A short 5 min walk to the main Plaza de Armas, but not noisy as the hotel is tucked away up a side street. Continental breakfast is included with tea or coffee, and delicious fresh juice. You can also order eggs any style , if you need more to fuel your day. We stayed in a large room as we were based in Cusco for 9 nights. Our room was on the top floor of the hotel and had a lovely view of the rooftops of the city. Cusco gets cold at night but there were lots of blankets and a small heater in the room so the bed was warm. The staff were all very friendly and we felt like family toward the end of our stay. There was no wardrobe or any sort of hanging space for clothes in the room. I think most people only spend 2 or 3 days in Cusco, but as we were there for a longer period this was noticeable. Coffee lovers take note - they serve instant coffee at breakfast. This wasn't a deal breaker for us as the hotel was great in every other way, and there are many great coffee shops throughout Cusco.

The price is very reasonable. It's a good walking distance to the plaza de armas. And since it's not directly at the plaza, it's not too noisy or busy. Very good views as well. We left early for our sacred valley tour, and they were kind enough to fix us a quick breakfast and coca tea.

Very cute little hôtel, close to downtown. Clean space and comfortable beds. Staff is super nice too and accommodating.

  • Engine customer Sep 2025

How it is accessible to the main center but it is still private because it is not at the main center. I don't hear any noise, not much cars and people passing

Samana B&B was perfect for our short stay in Cusco. The views from the rooms were amazing, and the breakfast was satisfying. We were even able to store our luggage there while we went on a four-day trek, which was a huge relief. The hotel is in a great location, just slightly removed from the very busy, touristy main square but still very close to restaurants and shops.

The staff was very friendly and they clean the room daily. The location is great, very walkable from the city centre. Friendly and helpful and have luggage storage. The staff were a little too rigid regarding late checkout not allowing even a minute more than the quoted check out time, despite the property being free. Not a deal breaker but it would've been good if they extended for a bit.

The curtains are basically decorative as it blocks almost no light.

This is a wonderful little B +B, located very close to the Plaza de Armas. The breakfast is delicious, the accommodation is clean, comfortable, and adorable. We would definitely recommend. We stayed here before and after hiking the Incan Trail and they held our luggage for us and arranged taxi services for us whenever needed. The owner told us over breakfast that 4 of the walls within the building are original Incan walls, actually were terraces, and that is most apparent in the reception/breakfast area. N/A

Arrived early to drop off our backpacks and explore Cusco. Very helpful, kind staff. Large comfortable room/beds with room for us to spread out our travel gear. Breakfast provided in morning is perfect way to start the day. Great walking distance to so many places in Cusco. The only thing to be aware of is staying in the top suite on a Fri or Sat evening as the music from the alley close by is very loud. Of course ear plugs and white noice did the job , plus were already so tried from the day's adventure. The views from the top suite but the windows allow more sound in. Otherwise every other evening is so incredibly peaceful. We would absolutely stay here again given this on one evening.

We had really great view from our room and the room and the whole hotel was very cosy. Breakfast could be improved having more options (although it was still good). And it would be nice if they could prepare some breakfast to go if you need to leave early (like other hotels in Cusco usually do)
