Solid location just north of the main square, just a little uphill. Dorm bed had decent curtain and shelf space/small locker at the foot of the bed plus another full size locker in the room. They stored my bag for me while I was hiking Salkantay and their laundry service was convenient. Breakfast was basic, but that’s on par with most hostels in Peru. The dorm shower drain was clogged so you end up showering in water up to your ankles. The bathroom floor itself was flooded one morning but I notified an employee and it was handled very quickly. Every tour company I booked for day trips that had hotel pickup included told me that Saqray was unavailable for pickup which was annoying since several tours drive directly by it. It’s wasn’t a big deal to walk down to the plaza instead but just something to be aware of as far as location goes.

Beautiful place Everything was good

We really appreciate Jorge and Martina's support and hospitality to make our stay very enjoyable. On the 1st night Jorge bring water kettle and coca tea to relieve our altitude sickness. Really appreciated. Martina also helped to book Rainbow Mountain ?. Not what I didn't like, but if there is any small pantry in common room, will be a huge bonus?

The staff, the location, the vibes

We arrive early morning at 6am and paid for the previous night and there was nobody at front desk for 30 mins. Simply not acceptable.

Staff was super nice and honestly am friends with them lol. But also the view from upstairs is amazing and an amazing location.

The room was spacious and bathroom was clean which is very important. Staff was very nice and accomodating. Breakfast. One time we requested to go brakfast and it was such basic bread with jam, an orange, and a cracker. I understand it is early in the morning but we have expected more.

Spacious and clean room with very comfortable bed. We extended our stay from one night to three nights and had to change to different rooms due to unavailability of the same room we stayed in, but all rooms are equally great. Towels are provided and breakfast was included and was great. Staff members were super kind and friendly, especially Martina who offered great advice for our Salkantay trek and was extremely helpful when my boyfriend was sick - she kindly arranged for a doctor to visit the hostel to check on him. We could store our bags during our Salkantay trek and even could borrow their hiking poles for the trekking. The hostel is up the slope so need a bit of physical effort to arrive, but was good as a small training for our trekking. Prepare your own toiletries for shower.

Fantastic quiet place away from the bustle of Cusco. It's a bit of an uphill walk to the hostel, but it really wasn't too bad. I appreciated the quiet area and nice views. Staff was really nice. Room was spacious and cute. Showers were a little older, but had hot water. I really enjoyed my stay here.

Staff was super helpful with giving recommendations for places to eat and things to see. Also, they gave us our breakfast to go since we had an early checkout - super nice. Good vibe and great views. Nothing.

Cold at night

Well located. Friendliness of the staff. They provides breakfast lunch bag when we need to leave early for an excursion Our window did not close properly. It was cold in our bedroom. Shower with warm or cold water. No hot water.

Very clean hostel, clean sheets, clean bathroom. Good value for money.

I was unfortunately in a room right by the reception and it was really noisy when trying to get some rest before a big hike (especially since I moved to a private room to have more quiet). It’s worth staying there, just ask to be put in a further away room.
