The view, the breakfast, the luxurious property that has a unique history dating back to the Incas reign. Beautiful royal and historic grounds overlooking Cusco and its beautiful plaza. The views from the room are amazing. Love the alpacas ? additions on hotel grounds. ❤️ Love the terrace garden overlooking the city, with warm cozy blankets. ❤️ The staff are courteous, friendly, and super helpful. Had my hot water bottle filled up by the staff daily. Tips about the general area and restaurant recommendations were helpful. They even offered me free oxygen tanks to ease my altitude sickness. There’s a big parking space surrounded by green space, and access to the main rural roads, best location to avoid the cramped city roads. I drove out to the valleys with ease from the hotel. A steep walk back up to the hotel from the plaza, through dark alleys. Not easy with the altitude sickness. But good exercise and not a big deal.

Amazing views of the city and easy to walk down into the city center. Rooms were big and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful with so much history behind the property.

Beautiful facilities with rich history and architecture. Great views of the city from our room. Enjoyed the breakfast and dinner options. The staff was amazing They went the extra mile when I was getting sick with altitude sickness and made arrangements for my wife and I to change to their Lima property for our last night to get me down to sea level. That facility was amazing too! Can't think of anything about the property or staff that we did not like. The Cuzco altitude was another story as it was difficult to breath at night, however, they had oxygen in the lobby that was of help. Have never seen a hotel do this for you and that is with over 40 years skiing in the mountains of CO.

Peaceful and pleasant, with amazing views. Llamas made a surprise and welcomed appearance outside our windows. Super quaint accommodations. There was nothing not to like.

Its SO beautiful here: the hotel itself and wonderful- kept grounds in which it's set. The level of service is off the charts - room service, lovely bar and restaurant; the breakfast buffet area has what must be one of the best views over Cuzco of any hotel, anywhere - breathtaking. We had a rough night here with both my wife & I and our adult kid experiencing health issues (stomach bug, bad cold, altitude sickness), but the staff went above and beyond to see to our comfort and well-being, for which I am grateful. Don't stay here for easy access to Cuzco's sites - they say it's a 7-minute walk to Plaza de Armas, but it must be a pretty steep downhill walk, and the walk back would be arduous. Rather, stay here to be above the city and enjoy the magnificent views, fabulous rooms & property, and pampering service.

Everything was perfect. Loved it!! Up the hill but got used to it.

Exceptional hotel. Staff, decor, views, property all top notch. It’s at the top of the hill so if you don’t like a hike you will need to Take a taxi to the center of town. But the incredible view is worth it

A beautiful, historic spot with friendly , resident alpacas, overlooking Cusco. The service was impeccable and the staff so friendly and caring. Breakfast each morning was very good and we had dinner one night in their restaurant which was special. Nothing.

It is up the hill for sure, but still only a 10 minute walk to town. The property is beautiful, the rooms beautiful, the breakfast delicious. It was a welcome respite after hiking in Macchu Pichu for two days. The shower hot! The air fresh, the bed so comfortable. I loved this property! Also they have Alpacas that are so friendly and cute.

Everything was amazing, the service, the food, the views and location. The room was big, clean and beautiful I loved everything. The only thing to know, is that if you go out walking and get to the Plaza Central, the come back will be a little tought. It's not far, but it's a lot of stairs.

The hotel and restaurant are top notch. With beautiful views of the city and amazing facilities, it’s worth every penny.

We love the garden setting — most (if not all?) rooms are on the ground floor with access to the surrounding open space, which render a homy feeling. Our room is spacious and comfortable. The lobby and the on-site restaurant are beautifully decorated with potteries modern time and of the past. There are a few llamas wandering in the backyard, which we could hang out and pet (only one allowed us to get closed though, even that he got a bit aggressive after a few minutes so just make sure to give them space). Breakfast is served in a room that looking out to the valley below staggered with brick-roofed houses and churches. It's perfect place for a take-it-easy day after our grueling hikes in Machu Picchu! It's a bit far away from the plaza if you want to walk down and hike back up

The style of the palace, the furniture and the service - exceptional

It is in a good location, but it is in separate buildings. It is not very easy to find the entrance, and the rooms are small. The staff is fabulous.

A stunningly beautiful hotel - breathtaking viewings and an amazing location. It's right by the artsy San Blas neighborhood and the main square - both are around an 8-minute walk away. Very clean and all the staff were warm and helpful. Breakfast was also great - lots of options, some of which change daily (like hot items, juices, baked items). The price is amazing value for a hotel for such a a stunning setting with high standards of care. It's cold in winter. With the hotel being on a shady spot in the mornings, the room and breakfast room were very cold. The rooms do have radiators and spare blankets, but you will need a jacket to go to breakfast or dinner in their winter (July).

The breakfast was not at the level of the hotel. There was not fresh bread in a city that breathes bakeries. The only bread was box bread. After the first day of breakfast I decided to eat outside the premises . Overall, food was not the best even in the restaurant
