The rooftop view. And thats it. Everything else was a disaster. Well well well, this "habitación" was a mistske, disappointment. In such a rich tourist city like Cusco definitely is, this accomodation is a huge faux pas. Avoid this place to save your nerves. The owner is nice, but for sure not welcoming. To support my statement, note these issues: 1. You are not gettting toilet paper. 2. You are not getting towels automatically, must ask for them. 3. Shower is tiny and with a risk of electric shock from disposed wiring. 4. The room we got was cold, very cold. 5. The room was small, divided by a door into two smaller rooms with common bathroom and no privacy. 6. The floor was dirty, slippery, full of small annoying glitters. 7. You are not getting wifi password automatically, must ask for it. 8. There was a running belt in the room occupying precious living space. What for?!? 9. The electric outlets in the other room were not working. 10. There were ugly old iron noisy beds not holding shape, where a longer person can not sleep well. 11. There is a lot of noise from the street all night long as there are couple of night clubs next to the apartment with drunk ugly people and slippery dirty floor on the way down to the main square. To be honest, take anything else. It is not worth the money. I would expect such a rat hole in a much cheaper place and this is the second gentle version of my original review.

Good location near Plaza de Armaz. Lovely family. Wished we had the time to go up to the balcony. Room very cold and dark. Odd slippery wax on wood floors. Only cold water at bathroom faucet. Tricky hot water shower. So cold towels don't dry well. Hair dryer did not work well.

I recently stayed for a few weeks with my teenage daughter. The location was absolutely great, the views are amazing from the patio up top. The staff was so friendly and I enjoyed seeing their smiling faces daily before and after our outings. Even with the language barrier it was so easy to come and go (we were really active while in Peru) they really made us feel at home. The Hostal felt safe, and we had access to breakfast on the days we didn’t leave too early for tours. The stairs to hostel might be a bit much for some but for us it meant we got a workout everyday going back and forth AND that meant more food :) It’s not so much a problem for us but it can be a bit chilly but we had LOTS of blankets so we weren’t cold at night. I only found it hard when showering but really just be prepared that Cusco is chilly and you need to have proper clothing!

The view was wonderful. We were on the top floor and it was a beautiful view of the Plaza de Armas. The breakfast was made each morning by the young lady who was working that morning. The rest wasn't the best experience for us. The room leaked water when it rained, onto the bed and floor I was sleeping in. The room was really loud all night. There was no insulation to keep the noise out. The Plaza de Armas was always loud, which made it hard to sleep. Also, we were charged more than what the reservation said we would pay because we paid in Soles. They also didn't clean the room during our 4 night stay.

Price was ok Uncomfortable room, lacked basic amenities like AC and hot water on the bathroom.
-
The room and the building in general could use some maintenance to improve the quality of the place.

Beautiful view from the terrace ?

Lovely staff, perfect view, the price for what you get, breakfast and the area, close to everything, I stayed there 9 years ago and if I will be here again, I will choose this place! Thanks for everything!

Lovely place! The view, the area, the staff, everything was perfect in La Casa del Inka, we enjoyed our stay! We recommend this place!

The owner went out of his way to arrange tours flowing smoothly with his guides waiting with our names, arranged English speaking knowledge guides. Will recommend him to family and friends. Only downside was no hot water and no heat in the room.. I guess the price was right with out the amenities. Yuri paid minutest attention to our travel convenience .. a huge thank you!!

Staff are very receptive and the hospitality is great. It is close to the market district/plaza de armas. The electrical showers are awful after a tiring day in Peru, not enough water, need to regulate a tiny stream for it to be hot. The location is a pedestrian only route which can be troublesome sometimes.

Nice hotel, friendly owner and staff. Beautiful city view from top floor patio; breakfast overlooking the old city.

The view and breakfast, staff was accommodating The room was cold, the shower water was not hot, they were painting so our room smelled of paint, at one point all of the water turned off for an hour or so, and the wifi was very spotty

The view from the rooftop is really amazing. location is very central, just 3 min walk to Plaza de Armas. Staff and owners were really helpful and accommodating. The very thick layers of layers of blankets. I dont think it’s necessary. All socket are loose and felt electric shock twice which is very dangerous if you are not cautious enough. The hot shower is really not that hot.

Great view from patio of Cusco old city centre. Where do I begin. Warning! 1. The booking could not be called a studio apartment. Please see the photos. 2. The apartment was freezing. They said they had heaters and then continued to lie, so we never got a heater. They are liars. 3. We had a tiny breakfast, one egg, and 2 x bread. When asked for more bread, we were told no. 4. FINALLY, I got a mild electric shock from the shower head in room 105, be warned. Also, see photos of it. Do not stay there or go in with your eyes wide open!

Great view, very nice and kind staff, delicious simple breakfast! The room was colder than i can handle and the shower was a little bit difficult to use. The water was hot but the room so cold that unfortunately shower was not the most pleasant experience

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They even offered to store my suitcase while I went to Machu Picchu. The terrace where breakfast takes place has a beautiful view over Cusco. The street where the hostel is located is made entirely of stairs which was difficult for me due to the thin air. But other than that I'd recommend it 100%
