I arrived very early (~1AM) in the morning. It was no problems checking in. I left very early in the morning. The host got up to check me out. They let me store my bag in the hostel so it made my day trip easier. They even let me charge my mobile phone while I was repacking my bag upon my return. Be careful coming out of the bathroom. I think the step was not what I am used to.

Everything was just fine

Location was quite central, within (steep) walking distance to Plaza de Armas "downtown" Cusco. Host was there to open the door for me quite late in the evening, and he was very attentive to my needs. Room & amenities were very basic. Beds okay comfortable, plenty of extra blankets, couple of outlets, and hot shower. Climbing the hill to get to the hotel was sometimes too much "exercise" especially late at night. Laundry service provided by hotel was decent "market price" but turnaround very slow. Breakfast was basic cold bread, butter & jam with hot water (instant coffee or tea).

You can't get there with a taxi (need to walk on a steep street). It's cold and humid. Breakfast is just bread with jam, and it's not served on the last day. I wouldn't recommend it, it was a mistake to stay there.

The location even is a little difficult for the altitude but is really near everything very good location The host is really annoying, he wants to control everything, keep the key of the bedroom and even enter when I wasn’t there, maybe it’s fine but for me I don’t like that

Breakfast was tea or coffee with 2 rolls with butter/jam...very light. Owner REFUSED to give me breakfast my final morning even though it's included in my daily price. Breakfast is from 7-9 with checkout at 9. I wanted breakfast at 7 and he said I'm already checked out (I was not...I was still very much in my room) and not entitled to it. I have never encountered a hotel that refused breakfast your final morning. I paid for a hotel room and breakfast the next morning...strangest encounter I've had at a hotel?!? Steep hike up to the hotel from the plaza. It falls outside the Centro zone for tour operators and due to the narrow steep streets, no one wants to pick up from the hotel. Taxis won't come to the hotel at night either so I went to the bus terminal super early to avoid having to take luggage down the SUPER steep roads to the plaza to get a cab. They are obsessed with getting your key back when you leave the property for the day. To the point that the owner was shouting after me on the street at 3 am as I was trying to meet my Rainbow Mountain tour bus.

Walking uphill to the property.

The host was really nice, always available. The lacation was also great, just few minutes from the main square. It was little cold in the room, but I think it's normal in that area.

Very good
-
It’s really close by to the main square, it was a big bed. It’s basically a private house and sleep in the mornings was not cool as someone in heavy shoes would walk upstairs from 7am, also one day they started cleaning the floor in the corridor making really a lot of noise and it was before 7am! The water was not really warm so showering was real fast and freezing in mornings. You had also to ask to open the front door every time you return to the room. Breakfast until 9am.

Friendly place, good laundry service Electric installations in the bathroom (shower) to be handled with extreme care

Comfortable bed and private bathroom - great for a couple nights well-located in Cusco! Staff friendly, rooftop views were wonderful, and simple yet nice breakfast was a plus. Would return again! Wifi was iffy and facilities were a tad limited, but still decent value for the price.
