As we had early tours they morning staff was willing to prepare something for us to take to eat The cleaning staff had to be reminded about replacement of towels after they clean

I liked the free breakfast and the location to the square. The staff seemed annoyed to be there, the hotel is next to and under a night club so bring ear plugs. It’s a bit dingy and honestly not great value.

We couldn’t control the heater, there were times where the room felt cold and we couldn’t warm up because it was control by the administrators and not the guests.

It was clean, the people were servicial! They give me 2 beds when I was staying just by my self!

The staff was great and accommodating. The location is very central and close to most attractions in Cusco. Lots of food options nearby as well. On weekends, it can get a little loud in the area til late night with people going out clubbing.

Breakfast. I really enjoyed the breakfast. A variety of fruits and juices. The rooms are outdated. The bathroom in our room smelled sewage (there is not another word to describe it). The rooms need better TV and better channels.

The hotel’s location is very convenient. It’s a short walk up to Sacsayhuaman and to the plazas. However, the walls are really thin and you can hear everything around you. I was on the third floor so you can’t hear much from the parties just outside the hotel. The breakfast is nice and the staff is really sweet and helpful.

The check-in process was easy, and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and warm with the heater on, and there is a nice outdoor area to have a drink or cigarette. The breakfast was basic with fruit, Cereal but you can order fried eggs etc. You can leave your luggage there in storage if taking a trip or tour and returning. Great location next to Plaza de Armas. The walls and ceiling are very thin. You can hear every footstep, every rude and noisy tourist, and the nearby music of the bars and nightclubs until the early hours of the morning.

    Exceptional

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

Great breakfast with many choices. Some noise from local nightclubs.

    Overall good.

Very close to centre of Cusco. Great for stop over to Machu Picchu. Staff very helpful with booking taxis and helping where needed. Rooms clean. . Bed not too comfortable but what you'd expect for the price. Pubs/clubs outside hotel, loud until early hours. Did not affect sleep inside the rooms and therefore did not bother us. This may be an issue for others.

You booked in USD expecting that the amount will be charged in your credit card at arrival, but once you are in the counter doing the check-in they'll tell you that their POS is not working with USD, so they offer to charge the amount to your credit card in PEN, at whatever exchange rate they want (higher than in street), otherwise they ask you to pay in cash, or make a transfer/deposit. They try to surprise people. Be aware.

The location and the restaurants near there The room should be painted and replace some furnitures

  • Engine customer Feb 2025

Didnt felt "Royal" :-) The hotel is located in the night club street of Cuzco and there are parties all nights. With noise from neighborhood I slept with windows closed and that didnt help with the sleeping while adjusting to high altitude.
