Illa Hotel

The hotel was great, all the staff were very friendly and our room was comfortable. The hotel is very close to the main square, restaurants and shopping but far enough that it's not too noisy. Highly recommend staying here! There were firecrackers often early in the morning and evenings due to nearby celebrations but this is not a hotel issue. There are neighbourhood/church celebrations at this time of the year but if you are not sensitive to loud noises, this should not be any issue.

Breakfast is very good.

It was the perfect location for my work and for tourists! - I had a great stay - and due to the altitude - the stairs did give me a work out - but other than that (which is common in Peru) all was great. Friendly staff, clean/comfortable rooms, HEAT (which not all have), good breakfast. Highly recommend I had to reconnect wifi often (not sure why) but was easy and worked well when connected.

Location and quality of cleaning is excellent. Nice view from room on floor 5. Relaxing comfortable environment. When busy on weekends, very limited hot water. Also would be nice to have better instructions on taxi from airport, although included did not use, no details how to get the taxi service at airport. From Hotel it was easy going back to airport!

Es una casona antigua ubicada en una calle empedrada de la ciudad. La calle es tranquila, hay restaurantes cerca, queda cerca de la plaza de armas. El staff es muy servicial. Te ayudan a coordinar los tours de forma eficiente y a resolver cualquier cosa que necesites. No desayuné en el hotel porque salí muy temprano a una excursión, pero mi desayuno estaba incluido. Entonces, el hotel ofrecía prepararme un desayuno para llevar (sándwich), pero yo no como gluten; sin embargo, María Luisa me preguntó qué podía comer y coordinó una buena opción de desayuno para mí. El calentador de la habitación (eléctrico de pared) tiene muy baja potencia para el frío de Cusco. Sin embargo, las cobijas son muy buenas.

Great location. Pretty hotel. Lovely staff. Decent room. Heater was great. Hot water was difficult to come by. Bed was firm.

Everything Nothing

Prime location and very clean! Only stayed here for one night but had everything we needed. Had an airport shuttle for early morning flights as well.

Great location, breakfast on site is convenient, staff are friendly. Tea always available. We got the suite and it was perfect for our needs.

Good breakfast, clean rooms. quiet and great staff

Bed was great, very large and comfortable room. Lots of stairs, confusing layout. Breakfast was okay, but not great. The shower barely had enough water pressure to run.

First night a family with small children were staying above us. Little noisy until bed time.

Amazing service and location!

Absolutely loved this charming hotel! The rooms are comfortable, spacious and perfectly equipped, the location & surroundings are tranquil and the decor is beautiful. The staff are wonderful - very helpful and friendly. And the breakfast is plentiful and tasty. I especially appreciated how silent the room was, so it was perfect for a good night’s sleep. Highly recommend this place, and would 100% stay here again ??❤️ Everything was great!

Great location and breakfast! Staff is nice. Rooms were good as well, though not consistent (we stayed in 2 different rooms at the same rate that had different quality beds and shower warmth). There is tea available Our first room was more comfortable than the second (we had 2 stays)

Great location and friendly staff. The room was large and quiet and was a perfect base for our stay in Cusco. We greatly appreciated the 24/7 tea in the lobby! The water temperature and pressure greatly varied in the shower, but wasn't bad.

The location is good Staff is unhelpful and hardly speaks English. Whilst on the site it states that there is a laundry - NOT TRUE!! When asked I was told to go out and find it myself in the city. The breakfast choices are very limited and not tasteful. The rooms are cold and actually face the internal open air courtyard - very loud when people started to mingle at 4:00 am and just cold!!
