Great breakfast Very nice and helpful staff The only problem is that guests are aloud to smoke in the 2 courtyards. For people who don’t smoke, one person who smokes can change the experience for many others! I wish for the hotel to prohibit smoking in its premises!

This was the best stay in a very long trip. The staff is so kind and helpful; they were friendly when we checked in pretty late after a flight delay, checked in and made recommendations when my husband felt sick, and helped us move into a different room when we needed to extend our room at the last minute. Spotless, quiet, delicious breakfast, and incredible location in San Blas. If you're staying in Cusco I can recommend this hotel enough!

Comfortable clean spacious rooms and friendly staff. Located in old historic part of Cusco only a few blocks from main square. Offered good range of food at buffet breakfast. Range of restaurants and shops very close proximity to hotel.

The hotel is very well located, the room was spacious, clean and warm (thanks to heater!). Room looked exactly as the photos I’ve asked for a king bed and the mattress was too soft, so my back hurts

My sister and I had a wonderful stay at Tierra Viva Cusco San Blas, which we used as our base while traveling around Peru. Each time we returned, we requested the same twin room, which was spacious, spotless, and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the traditional atmosphere of both the rooms and the building. We especially appreciated the hotel’s eco-friendly touches, such as glass bottles of water in the room instead of plastic and refillable shampoo and body soap dispensers in the shower. Breakfast was excellent as well. As vegans, we were very happy with the variety: plenty of cereal, bread, olives, plant-based milk, and much more. The location couldn’t be better, just a minute’s walk from Plazoleta San Blas and about five minutes from Plaza de Armas. Another highlight for us was the variety of vegan restaurants nearby. The hotel was very quiet, and we enjoyed relaxing in the patio and cozy garden, reading on the deck chairs while taking in the beautiful view. The staff were consistently kind and helpful, and it was extremely convenient to be able to store our luggage for free while we were away on trips. We would definitely recommend this place! The only downside was that late check-out wasn’t possible (only up to 1PM/2PM). Because our flight left in the evening, we had to pay for an extra night (we asked for a discount, but it was refused) to keep the room until 5 PM, which was a bit disappointing. Still, the overall value is very good for what the hotel offers.

The staff were great and helpful. We chose this Tierra Viva for the location. The breakfasts were good though the hot food wasn't always hot. The heating and windows could be upgraded. It was hard to keep the rooms warm.

Small boutique hotel in a great location, quiet side street but close to walk to the main square. About 15-18min walk to the train station from which you can get to Perurail. We got a great room with a little Juliet balcony view from which we could see the mountain range. Staff was super helpful and friendly even gave us a 3am breakfast snack box for an early tour we had.

accomodations were comfortable and clean the website (through booking.com) was way too difficult for me to figure out. I was unable to cancel an extra room and had to pay for it. I tried to cancel before I left home but couldn't figure out the website. When I arrived in Cusco, The front-desk person told me I had to cancel on-line, not through him. This did not work out because I did not have a computer with me. And anyway the website of booking.com was very complicated. I think it would be good if you would allow the front desk person to manage cancellations.

This is a fabulous hotel in the San Blas neighbourhood, which is just up the hill from the main square but a great location for beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff are lovely and so helpful, they put us in touch with a wonderful driver who took us to Ollantaytambo via a sacred valley tour. They stored most of our luggage for a couple of days while we visited Machu Picchu. The rooms are spacious, warm, spotlessly clean and with lovely decor. Couldn’t ask for more. My husband and I loved loved loved this place. The rooms are newly renovated, the bedding are comfortable with white and crisp sheets, the bathroom was clean and newly renovated . The view from our room was amazing . The staff were kind and caring. The breakfast was such a delight with a loving server. I would definitely come back to this hotel and I highly recommend it. The room was overall specious and comfortable. We had a kind size bed that was very large. The bathroom was large and clean. The shower pressure was very strong which was amazing. The staff were all very friendly and the receptionist was helpful to fix a booking issue that had occurred by our fault. We also asked for a breakfast box when we left to do our trip to Machu Picchu, which they did and was greatly appreciated. The internet connection was pretty bad at most times in our room. We either had to sit next to the door or sit outside. Also, the window of our room was facing the common area on the first floor, which gives no privacy if the curtains are opened.

Great location near to great restaurants, shops and quaint streets. We found the room very quiet at night, Staff were excellent with everything such as leaving our luggage for two days. Breakfast was the best we had in Sputh America with cooked eggs plus other hot choices, oats and other grains, yoghurt, fresh bread, jams and marmalade and most important, very good coffee. There was free Muna and Coca tea all day. Room was very spacious and a very high standard. Perfect nothing
