Breakfast at this hotel was fine. They made omelets to order. The facility itself was classic Spanish colonial architecture. The huge wall mosaic was amazing. A great location only a short walk to the Plaza de Armas. The wifi did not work in our room and we had the most expensive large room in the hotel. We stayed in this hotel and room before and after going to Machu Picchu. That is an only frustration we had, but for us it was significant. We asked to see if they could improve situation and no solution was found. While the hotel was fine otherwise for us I am not likely to stay again. We had a larger. Seeing some of the regular rooms being cleaned, they looked quite small and dark, but I can really only judge the room we had.

Clean sheets and towels, but room walls and windows into main area made it loud as people came off elevator. Not fancy, but that was expected.

We had two rooms to accommodate our family of four. One room was the matrimonial and was huge and had a great view. The backroom was sufficient and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast and location were fantastic. The second room was depressing - no light, little ventilation. But the beds were comfortable and room was decent-sized for 2 twins.

Loved the bed and size of the room. The lobby was beautiful and location superb as far as walking is concerned only. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety. We were there for a week and didn’t sleep well at all as our room was right on the street and very noisy. It was considered a supreme room. The regular noise wasn’t so bad, as much as the car alarm parked right in front of hotel constantly went off day and night. We asked the front desk kindly if they could try and find out whose it was. Instead of helping, they actually denied that it was going off all the time. I understand this may not be the hotels fault but it was the indifference to how it was handled that was frustrating. There are no tea kettles or coffee pots in the room. When I asked if I could get some hot water for my room, I was told by front desk to ask the restaurant when they open at 6pm. I feel that a pot of hot water is something they should have been able to handle.

Breakfast and location where good. Nice art on the wall. The hotel is very noisy and there are no windows really. The walls are very thin. The receptionist was not nice. She started with saying that our reservation did not come through, which was not the case. That gave us a bad start. The safe in the room was not good, so we had to take all our valuables with us on the street (on New Years eve).

The breakfast was delicious. The chef cooked omelets every morning. A little bit noisy at night but nothing that stopped me sleeping.

Excellent location. You don't have to climb any hills to get to the Plaza de Armas and back. Also a two minute walk to one of the museums on the boleto turístico. Charming colonial building. Brilliant view from the rooftop. No free potable water. Because the building is older, I could hear conversations from the common area below the room but it wasn't late at night so no real problem.

The breakfast was very good, delicious local bread, you can order an omelet the way you like and they also provide local cheese which is amazing. The location is very good, short walk from the main square. The staff at this hotel is the best, very helpful, very friendly, very guest-oriented. I would say it's its first best feature and second is the location. There is an elevator so no need to worry for climbing up the stairs. In total we stayed in 3 different rooms, for different reasons. None of them had any good ventilation. This is particularly bothersome when you have altitude problems and struggling to catch a breath. After taking a shower, the room is filled with steam for pretty much the whole day. The WiFi in the rooms is terrible, cuts all the time.

The location of this hotel is great, you're right by the plaza where all of the day tours leave from. They prepare a to-go breakfast for you if you leave before breakfast starts. The room was warm, with a very hot shower. The wifi in the hotel lobby worked great, but in our 4th floor room it was so-so.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel was conveniently located for tourists and had an excellent view of the city.
