RHOUSE Cusco

Modern apartment in a quiet(er) neighborhood in Cusco, Peru. Dario was the main contact person who supported our initial planning and the details of our arrival, daily needs and departure. Dario is amazing! He is very attentive and kind. There was warm water at any time of day - which cannot be said of many places to stay in Cusco. We had a stovetop, oven, hotpot, microwave and fridge in our kitchen. Good WiFi, view to the south of some of the surrounding mountains. The location was great as we could easily walk to the historical center of Cusco or get a taxi to wherever we needed to go. Every morning we were served a nice breakfast served at a time we selected in our apartment. It was consistent and we appreciated this. Others have commented that there was not much variety which is true. Scrambled eggs, bread (pan), Fresh fruit juice- either papaya or pineapple, coffee, milk, coca tea (on request), fruit of some sort (some days sliced bananas with cream other days sliced avocado) slices of cheese and ham. We were able to purchase 20 liter (5gallon) bottles of water with spigot to use for our drinking water and Dario would deliver them and open them up for us. Dario helped arrange a ride both upon arrival and departure from the airport. Anywhere within a mile or two the Plaza de Armas is going to have noise at night. There are routinely groups of people practicing for the next Catholic Saint’s celebration. This includes music and whistles and sometimes fireworks. Generally speaking this ended by 9:30 pm. Our last night there was a celebration of the Peruvian Independence Day and began with loud fireworks which started at 2:30 am and continued every 15 minutes until 6 am. This is a Cusco issue and not at all to do with R House apartment or the location. The other staff supporting our stay were not as exceptional as Dario but were helpful.

Very spacious, great views, clean and modern. Good breakfast. Having a kitchen in-house was excellent! Location was a little far from the centre. However, you can easily get a cab to and fro for a very cheap rate. As we were a large group, hot water was spotty sometimes depending on how many showers were being used at the same time.

Clean and spacious. Very friendly staff. They cleaned the apartment every day. Perfect place to stay away from home. Everything was perfect

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—but what truly set this experience apart was the host. When our child fell sick during the stay, the host went above and beyond to help us, showing incredible kindness, flexibility, and genuine care. They accommodated our family of 12 in the 2 apartments on the same floor. House keeping every day was amazing and clean by the time we came back after a hectic day. Fresh breakfast every day was awesome. Exceptional home, outstanding service, and an amazing host. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Nothing to mention specifically.

Breakfast was repetitive

We had a great stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We always had hot water, which was much appreciated after long days out. They even prepared breakfast for us at 4:00 AM, which was above and beyond. Overall, excellent service and a very comfortable experience! There was a leak in the bathroom

The staff were simply exceptional. We had the top floor and the views are fantastic. All rooms were very clean and had their own bathrooms which was nice. Either a walk or cab right to the plaza which was convenient. We could not have been happier with our stay. Highly recommended. Not much to dislike

The RHouse staff (Shantel, especially) is wonderful! The apartments were very spacious and clean, and the breakfast was delicious!

Nicely decorated. Very spacious with a second level - 4 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms. New mattresses are needed. There is no dishwasher but a person who comes & hand washes dishes. There is no washer & dryer in unit. There is a separate sink to hand wash & shelves to dry. There is also a laundromat across the street.

It felt safe and clean, everyone there was so helpful! They arranged a fantastic cooking lesson in the apartment, accommodated me when I needed to book an extra night, and helped to coordinate a cab for me to get back safely one night. I otherwise walked everywhere I wanted to go and this location worked well for that.

All the staff were very helpful and kind. The room was big enough with two bathrooms, fair enough for a group of 6. The room was not very clean. There were hairs on the beds, we have not had enough towels. Also the breakfast was awful, we ate only ones.

The apparently is honestly nice and the view is incredible. There is a clear drainage issue which results in some times overwhelming smell of sewage.

Beautiful modern apartment tastefully furnished and with ample space for three of us. Short walk to the main square. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was simple but nice.

The hot water didn't work. The area was really loud with lots of barking dogs and a rooster. The breakfast was not very good, it would help if they allowed you to make a selection.

My experience at Rhouse was good. The room has a great view of the city of Cusco. The beds are comfortable, and the reception staff is always helpful. Thank you very much!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful! They picked us up from the airport, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The bed was really comfortable, and the view of Cusco is amazing. Definitely recommend!
