Some of the staff were nice and helpful. It is a good location to visit the centre of Cusco, and is not very expensive. We were allowed to overstay a bit in the morning after our tour was cancelled last minute. The rooms were not cleaned when we got there and the breakfast was not great.

Check-in was easy and staff was helpful. Room was clean and they are all themed after a different wonder of the world, which is fun. Breakfast was included. More options for breakfast would be appreicated.

Good Location. Staff friendly . Poor breakfast. Many stairs ,so go Light on Bags. Amenities none. Room has visible dust, bath need improvement. Shower very slippery, i felt and hit my head hard. Machupikchu room ,In the shower, the faucets weren’t working. You had to turn it on from above by stepping on the edge of the shower to reach it, which was risky. Very old looking nothing like the picture.

Stayed here twice during our trip as it ended up being better than other places. It's nothing fancy by any means but was comfortable, quiet and efficient. The internet worked well enough, the best hot water we had in Peru and super friendly staff. The location is very convenient- seems like a random area but you're less than 10 minutes walk to everything and it's safe. Slept well and enjoyed the large sitting area and baggage storage. No frills at all- this is a place to crash. The breakfast is extremely basic but decent for the price.

    No frills

Our room was very spacious and clean. The team was very helpful, they let us store our luggage when we went to a trek and to shower when we returned. Best value for money we found in Cusco by far. The breakfast is basic, we didn’t go after one day

    Shower was not good

Favorite stay in Cusco (as we stayed at three similarly priced accommodations).

Left too early to taste breakfast. A little bit of nose when guests arrived 1 and 2 am

Big room, Nice and clean and quiet area off the j main street. They help to store the luggage for the day.for free. They have a really nice common area where we were waiting to fly back home. Nice helpful staff. I would say again and recommend it. Note that GPS will bring you to the alley and there's a sign hanging above saying Los Aticos in a row of signs. Then you walk down that alley to the entrance. It is well worth getting off the noisy Street. And

Stayed here ebfore embarking on the Salkantay trek, easy last minute booking, the staff know what they're doing, we got to leave our big rucksacks with them during the trek. Rooms were basic but nice big kitchen. Lighting in the rooms and co-working spaces isn't great and they get a little cold but nothing crazy. Kitchen equipment could be better stocked.

Beds were decent, hot water without interruption was nice, and the breakfast was good. In-room control of heating was fantastic. Edgar provided such good service it actually elevated the experience for us. One issue I had was the outlet that the heater was plugged into. The outlet box was falling apart and the plug needed constant adjustment or the heater would disconnect electrically. The outlet box is an electrical fire risk and I was frequently worried it would cause a fire.

The location was exceptional, just a few minutes walking to all different points of interest in Cusco. There were many restaurants around and the neighbourhood was very safe and always had movement. As the street where the hotel is located is calm, there were not too many noise. The property needs maintenance, the shower only got hot when we turned in the sink first, and the bathroom got completely wet after a shower because there was only a curtain to close it and the water went everywhere. Being on the first floor we had a bit of noise from the reception.

    Exceptional

Good location We thought apartment would have cooking facilities but there was only a refrigerator. You had to go to downstairs kitchen to get hot water. At night, there was no water in the bathroom. There was not much for breakfast - only stale bread, cheese, ham and yogurt. We stayed five nights - breakfast was the same every day.

I have experienced three hotels close to the city center in this price range, and I can say Los Aticos was the best of them, with hot water, clean beds, and windows to fresh air, not an indoor balcony. Staff are helpful but often not present, and you have to call them several times.

  • Engine customer Apr 2025

It was a little damp and smelly.

This hotel has a sort of style. It intends to be a home with a common chicken, areas where guests could feel they are in a sort of house, etc. It is also oriented to English speaking visitors. Too serious staff. At the checking, they did not remind me that I have to make the payment on site. Lack of information.

    Very good
