Tandapata Boutique Hotel

This is an amazing place to stay in Cusco. Most of all the wonderful staff - Carmen, Janet, and others who were so kind to me during my stay. The rooms are very clean, quiet, and well-kept. The breakfast is good and filling. It was convenient to be able to store my bags here between treks. It is in a great neighborhood, only about 10 to 15 minute walk from the central plaza but steps away from great restaurants, shops. I loved Soq'a organic restaurant right by and convenient pharmacy and other shops right by Highly recommend Tandapata - really miss the place! Just a note: pedestrian access only to the street (which I loved). Another note: in Cusco it can get quite cold, so as a solo traveler I actually preferred the smaller rooms so the space heater worked better.

The staff is fantastic, place is clean and cozy, great location. Wifi connection from my room was bad. And the wifi speed is like it’s 2010. ( I tested multiple if their wifis). No window outside. My view was other rooms. Some of the lights were flickering all night every night.

Located in San Blas, which is close to everything you want to see in Cusco and its a very quiet and safe neighborhood. Great resturaunts nearby. Everything is within walking distance. Hotel is spacious, clean and very quiet. The staff, especially Luce, is awesome. They are friendly, helpful, and nice to talk to. Beds are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, and the showers are powerful and hot. I stayed here for about 17 days, coming and going between trips elsewhere in the Sacred Valley and the rainforest. Like most other hotels, they will store your bags while you go away on shorter trips to other places. This is a really nice place to stay and appropriately priced. Nothing.

The aesthetics, doors, floors, and furniture. I appreciate the friendliness, courteousness, kindness and always willing to help of all staff, from the front desk, breakfast attendant/server, male maintenance and attendant. They all went above and beyond to make me comfortable with our stay. Thank you! There is a urine odor in the bathroom, it was already cleaned but the odor is there. The management needs to look for safe product to maintain the cleanliness of the toilet.

Everything was great about this property, except the WiFi was awful. We asked the front desk and they connected us to 3 different property WiFi but all were junk. The only half decent WiFi was at the breakfast table.

well kept, clean. all staff were courteous, from the front desk staff, to the staff that helped with our luggage, the attendant during breakfast time, the housekeeper, and the male and female night crew. they all very helpful and will go out of their way to help, find what you need and their friendly smiles! Thank you. The drainage in the shower is so slow to drain. They do not provide small towels, the sink in the rooms can easily get wet because the sink is too shallow.

Great location! Safe and easy to walk to restaurants, gift shops and money exchanges.

Wow, everything was just perfect! The room was spotless and so cozy, we felt right at home! We absolutely loved it! Huge thanks for the refreshing bottle of water—it was just what we needed. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast— The ladys at the front desk were so nice, good customer service. it really topped off our stay!"? Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The Staff - Luz in particular was very helpful in keeping our luggage for a few days before we checked in, guided us through the local areas- the breakfast was good Could see some improvement with fruit inventory - otherwise all was great

While the staff were very nice, I wouldn’t recommend staying here simply due to the noise at night. There was extremely loud base music playing until midnight on the night we stayed here, even white noise wouldn’t drown it out.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent and the chef was so nice. Room beautiful, clean and it had a loft with a terrace to have a great view of Cusco.

Very clean, and the bed was so comfortable. The breafast was delicious and healthy. It's in a quiet area away from the main square. The window of my room was in line with the terrace, so if I opened it, people could see right in. It also is up a hill from the main square, which is great after you drop off your luggage.

Very comfortable and on a good location, but it was way too expensive for Peru standards. Looks to be made for American tourists who have too much money and no clue

Let me check in early after long flight. Comfy bed. Good views. Allows luggage storage No running water. As a woman on a menstrual cycle this is just not acceptable. No water from the tap or shower. Felt horrible the whole day impacting my holiday. Cleaning/showering is a basic need. Therefore I am going to email and request a refund.

The location was great for exploring the San Blas neighborhood area. They provided a good variety of breakfast foods and the view of the rooftops and city from the breakfast room is very nice. We liked that there was a heater in the room because it was rather cold. The room itself was beautiful, spacious, clean and the bathroom was well-appointed and had hot water. The staff was pleasant. We were dissatisfied with the hotel charging us a VAT charge (only applicable to Peruvian residents) and they tried to pass it off as a commission. They are clearly not following the policies as a booking.com vendor and should be audited. The room itself, which they call a courtyard view was on the ground floor and was rather dark and cold. Thankfully, they had a heater. Don't expect privacy if you opened the curtains to let natural light in since all the rooms are facing each other. Our room window faced the stairs so we kept the curtains closed at all times.

Good

Palatial room, clean and very nice. This hotel cannot be accessed by taxi. None of the taxis we used could find it. We walked long distances with luggage and only found it with the help of friendly local people.
