I like everything, it is a good place to have a great time, everything is clean and so nice, it is very clear that if I return to Cusco I will return to the Sleepy Mouse

Good value, use of kitchen, Ok location. Not clean at all, toilet was cleaned 1 time in 3 days. I had to request 3 times for the toilet to be cleaned. I've worked in hostels, it's standard to clean them everyday at least once. Also, no curfew for people to sleep. Normally it's 10 o clock. Especially given people are doing hikes at 4 am

Comfy bed and bedding, 24 hour reception, decent shower and good kitchen Could have been a bit cleaner, got charger more on tax than originally quoted and were not allowed to stay at all past check out, this is the first time a hostel hasn’t let us linger around until nearer our bus time
-
The place was very quiet, the rooms spacious and it so happened that I had the room for myself. I enjoyed my stay. Also, I received a towel, which does not always happen in hostels
-
Well behaved stuffs are very diligent about the cleanliness of their hostel....the hostel was serene and had an unique feeling of homeliness

The bedroom was clean and the bed comfy, it’s in a good location. The kitchen and bathrooms were dirty and didn’t look like they had been cleaned in a couple weeks. There were two helpful staff members otherwise the rest were a bit useless.

My stay in Cusco was amazing. Besides have loved the city, for me Diego was the best host ever. He is lovely, friendly and he was always there to open the door and to respond messages. His willingness to help and give advices was wonderful. The sleep house is jus few blocks to the main square, so I would highly recommend!!! Nothing

Our stay at El Sleepy Mouse was okay. Nothing particularly special, 10-15 min walk from the Center of Cusco. The hostel was nearly empty, so we had everything to ourselves. Staff was friendly and flexible. There is a kitchen were you are not supposed to cook meals, only prepare breakfast or sandwiches but as the hostel was nearly empty, we cooked diner one night and it did not seem to be a problem. But keep that in mind in case you stay there during not crowded times. Bathrooms and other common rooms were clean and there was hot water, which is not always the case in Peru ;) So we were lucky on that. Orr room was not very clean, the floor was dusty and it seemed to not have been cleaned or vacuumed properly for a while, which did not bother us very much because we have seen much worse on our travels. Unfortunately our bedsheets seemed dirty when we arrived, so we asked to change them, which was not a problem. Maybe it was just a bad coincidence, but give a look to your sheets before laying down ;)

Comfortable beds, kitchen and hot shower. We could leave our bags during our Salkantay trek. The location was very good, within walking distance of all hotspots in town. It was very quiet in the hostel, with not a lot of guests and when we left for the Salkantay trek and wanted to check-out, the lady was gone.

Super nice fully equipped kitchen, great location, lovely and helpful staff. Beds are extremely comfortable.

Super comfortable beds, very clean, free tea and water provided, kitchen available, hot water, everything great! everything was great

Super comfy beds, soft white sheets, everything very clean, kitchen seemed clean, there is hot water and free tea available. Staff tried to charge my VAT tax 18% on top of my booking price, even though foreigners are not supposed to pay vat, by law. staff kept insisting, but I flatly refused. Then they tried to add 11% commission for card payment. I also refused. it took a lot of arguing and threat to leave for another hostle to simply pay the price I was supposed to pay in the first place. ridiculous. there was no hot water in the morning, staff just threw up their hands and offered no solution, couldn’t shower, thank god I was already going to another hostel. wifi didn’t work from my bed (female room), had to go to the corridor to use it you have to buzz in and wait for staff to open the door even during the day, which is really annoying
